Fundacion Oir es Vivir

The Fundacion Oir es Vivir was founded in 2008 to serve as a bridge for the hearing impaired population who are seeking a solution for their disability and lack the knowledge, resources, and financial means. The Foundation has done strong advocacy for early hearing detection and intervention program in the newborn and hearing screening test in preschool and school children. In the older population the Foundation also educates the importance of quality of life through the ability to hear and understand the sounds of life, and the importance to remain connected socially and environmentally.

Fundacion Casita de Mausi

Casita de Mausi Foundation is a lodging facility for adults with cancer. We receive patients from the National Cancer Institute who do not have social security and need lodging while they receive their outpatient treatment, and then for each control appointment. We receive each patient with their family member or companion and accommodate them for as long as they need, we support them with accommodation, food, transportation, basic necessities and anything else they require during their stay at Casita de Mausi. A person undergoing treatment stays an average of 5 to 8 weeks, depending on the diagnosis and type of treatment.
