When we do this, we deprive our neighbor of the service we could render, and we deprive ourselves of the opportunity to serve. Join us to fight Famine Mission Famine is one of the most common evils in our communities because of natural disasters, conflicts, unstable economic situations, and the lack of fundamentals in management and self-reliance principles. The goal is to support communities by training them on small projects in the processing, production, and conservation of food products. Strategies Food for All Program Based on local realities, we identify communities of different strata of our populations in the grip of hunger, living in rural areas and some in urban areas and help them to take charge of themselves by efficiently exploiting natural resources at their disposal. With our partners who are experts in the field, we provide basic training, provide production tools such as watering cans, seeds, etc. Beneficiaries commit to perpetuate this culture in their families and commit to contributing with resources such as land for gardening, time, and availability to learn and share knowledge on agricultural techniques they receive from our program. Education ________________________________________ Mission We help people from disadvantaged social strata to acquire basic and practical trainings for their personal, collective development, and Self-reliance. Strategies Professional Training: In partnership with Local professional training centers, we provide short-terms practical trainings in the following areas: - Sewing Skills - Masonry & Construction Skills - Plumbing Skills - Cooking Skills - Agriculture & Farming Skills - Welding Skills Literacy: With proven technicians and partners working in the field of education, we organize French literacy classes for women and children first. Adults in need are also considered. Scholarship: In partnership with local orphan's supporting structures, we help pay school fees for orphans and other children in real need. PROJECTS IN DEVELOPMENT Emergency Responses NGO Partnerships Emergency Responses Becoming inevitable, natural disasters are more and more frequent in our communities, creating enormous damage. Our mission is that whenever one occurs within our reach, that we provide assistance and relief to the victims. It has been reported that on average, humanitarian crises are more complex than at any time in the last 15 years, and last nearly three years longer than they used to. Conflict, migration, climate change and now the unexpected pandemic (COVID-19) are the key trends driving these crises. Critical Emergency Responses to Address: - Providing the basics (Soap, Sanitizers, masks etc.) - Reinforce Sanitation to minimize infection As they arise in our area of activities, Emergency responses will be posted and best approaches shared on our website and social media pages Strategies In partnership with local institutions, we identify and quantify needs to find a more effective approach to addressing the emergency. We mobilize volunteers, collect donations in kind and in cash depending on the type of disaster and work closely with the competent structures to relieve the affected communities. Affecto foundation's core mission is that of rescuing students who come from poor and disadvantaged backgrounds but perform well in their Primary school leaving examinations. These children have missed out to access secondary education, because there was no money for school fees or transport to school, or they faced irregularities within the education system.

Goal To offer education empowerment, sustainable livelihood, create awareness and support on issues of health, gender, research, education and poverty reduction to be participant in nation building. Vision Statement To create an environment and society where families and communities hosting OVCs and destitute are stable and self reliant. Mission Victory Foundation Programme is dedicated to promote education to the orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs) to enable them to be participants towards nation building and to alleviate poverty in the affected communities through:- Working with Children, families and their communities by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. Create awareness and support for those infected/affected by HIV/AIDS; Address the endemic issues of drug abuse, gender, education and health and Democracy and Governance in Kenya. Objectives To open up centers and help the orphans, destitute and widows in the community. To facilitate of HIV/AIDS seminars. To Network with community based Organization (CBOs) and Non-governmental Organization (NGO's). To promote income generating activities (IGA) to rural poor. To offer vocational training to the drop outs and those who have completed secondary education. To offer guidance and counseling services. To network with community in recreational activities. To facilitate both primary and secondary education to the needy children. To do all such other thing as are incidental or conducive to attainment of any of the above objects To raise, mobilize and disburse funds and other resources for the promotion of the objectives.

To transform and restore hope to broken lives by mitigating the impacts of societal breakdown especially those related to breakdown of traditional societies and introduction of new lifestyles. This is achieved through innovative education and counseling towards healing, prevention of and addressing the systemic drivers of its prioritised issues, namely (1) trauma and its underlying conflicts, violence and broken commUNITY peace, (2) distorted emotional & social capacity, (3) behaviours promoting HIV/AIDS and related infections, and (4) substance abuse, with special attention for marginalised youths. In particular KAP empowers people at 'grassroots' level by giving them knowledge and skills as well as a concerned and helping human heart. KAP's CORE INTERVENTIONS mainly revolve around (1) Community-based training of Community Resource Persons (CRPs); (2) Provision of professional counselling and (psycho-) education services; (3) Health promotion courses and counselling for reimbursement/for a fee. KAP's prioritised issues are organised into four SUB-PROGRAMMES: (1) HIV/AIDS Behaviour Education, (2) Abuse and Addiction Prevention, Community-Based Treatment and Referral, (3) Prevention and Healing of Violence and Trauma for Peace, and (4) Empowering Youths on the Margins ('Unreached Youths'). A fifth strategic pillar called 'Institutional Excellence' aims at continued organisational, partnerships and human resources development. Twins International's projects are carried out to ensure that more and more orphaned or vulnerable children in Kenya have access to school education, vocational trainings and tools to give them a worthy future and escape from the harsh reality of the slums. Particular attention is paid to the fight against HIV/AIDS, ensuring medical care for each of our beneficiaries who have contracted the virus. We are very committed to spread awareness on gender-based violence and thus we stress the need to let our girls have a voice and claim the right to equality, which is all too often denied among the populations of developing countries. Twins International operates directly on projects in Kenya through a lean structure, thanks to a compact and prepared staff and groups of volunteers who help both in Africa and Italy.
