Help Refugees is the leading UK NGO in a new movement of humanitarian aid, funding over 80 projects across the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Our mission is to provide immediate crisis response, as well as long term relief, for vulnerable groups such as women and children in a dignified, respectful and empowering way. Our ambition is to find a response that simultaneously improves the conditions for both refugees and local actors.

An estimated 800,000 children in the European Union are separated from an imprisoned parent on any given day. Yet few people are aware of the impact that a parent's incarceration can have on a child. Children separated from a parent in prison frequently experience multiple emotional and social difficulties associated with their parent's incarceration. They not only have to cope with the parent's absence and the disruption of the child-parent bond, but are also vulnerable to social exclusion, financial hardship, discrimination and shame. Children of Prisoners Europe (COPE) is a pan-European network which encourages innovative perspectives and practice to ensure that the rights of these children (as enshrined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the European Convention on Human Rights) are fully respected and that action is taken to secure their well-being and healthy development. The network is a membership-based organisation made up of non-governmental organisations and individuals across Europe and beyond, linked by a staff team based at its French headquarters. Raising awareness among child-related agencies, prison services and policymakers to the specific needs of children of prisoners and promoting initiatives that take these needs into account, the organisation is seeking to: - Expand programmes that support the child-parent relationship and help minimise violence for children with an imprisoned parent; - Introduce the child's perspective throughout the criminal justice process, from arrest to resettlement; - Foster cross-sectoral collaboration among public and private agencies involved in supporting and making decisions about children of prisoners; - Obtain better information and greater visibility for prisoners' children and influence policy at the national, European and international level on their behalf; - Promote the exchange of initiatives, expertise and good practice for children with imprisoned parents; - Enhance the competence of professionals within the field. Working to foster the promotion and provision of policies, frameworks and meaningful action on behalf of children affected by parental incarceration to protect their development and well-being, our aim is to ease the burden of the imprisonment of a parent on the child.

"New Agriculture New Generation" is a non-profit organization, which aims to create career and entrepreneurship opportunities for youth in the Agrifood sector in Greece. The organization was founded in 2018 under the initiative and with the founding support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) as part of its "Recharging The Youth" program. The initiative started in 2018, led by Rutgers University (the state university of New Jersey), in collaboration with the Agricultural University of Athens and the American College of Agriculture. In October 2020, the initiative evolved into a Non-profit Civil Law Company based in Greece, expanding its activities and partner network while maintaining close collaboration with Rutgers University which is our strategic and technical advisor. We are a catalyst for innovation in the Agrifood ecosystem in Greece. We enable empowerment of youth and support the revitalization of the sector through. We build capacity, expand advisory networks, nurture innovation, support business development, and encourage collaboration and dialogue through programs and initiatives which focus on four major pillars: 1. Workforce Development, 2. Entrepreneurship and Innovation Support, 3. Rural Development (Programs restarting agricultural economy in disaster-stricken areas and stimulating regional development), 4. Strategic Initiatives (Initiatives addressing and mitigating climate change effects on the agrifood sector). We have built a wide network of partners, embracing the entire ecosystem of knowledge, entrepreneurship, and innovation across the agrifood sector in Greece. Furthermore, we work closely with all the Greek Academic Institutions and Research Centers, institutional, public, and private bodies. Our dynamic role in the agrifood ecosystem is acknowledged through our participation in several advisory groups to the Greek Ministry of Rural Development and Food, as well as in relevant working groups and committees of the Hellenic-American and the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Since 2018, we have empowered more than 29.600 young farmers, producers, entrepreneurs, graduates and other professionals, through our capacity building, entrepreneurship, and regional development programs as well as through natural disaster relief initiatives (Fire relief initiative for Northern Evia, Initiative to support the stock farmers of Karditsa, affected by Cyclone Ianos). We have implemented more than 50 capacity building programs and we have supported more than 100 SMEs, family and start - up businesses and cottage industries, and over 300 professional trainers, mentors and advisors. Our socioeconomic and environmental impact: 94% of our beneficiaries have improved their existing farming and technical processes, more than 44% of our beneficiaries have invested in the development of new products and services, more than 36% of businessowners/self-employed beneficiaries reduced their environmental footprint, 16.8 million is the total value created from our operations and 10.9 million created from our beneficiaries in the Greek economy. Our estimated economic leverage effect in the real economy is x3.6 (for each 1 euro spent by the organization, 3.6 is generated in the Greek economy). Furthermore, our organization has adopted 13 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while our activities are aligned with ESG criteria. Acknowledged as best practice by the European Commission DG Agri and invited in the "Vocational Education and Training for Agriculture in Transition" event in Brussels. Also, NANG was represented in the "Workshop on Young entrepreneurs - Engines of innovation in rural areas" in Dublin. 2. Selected among the top 30 non-profit organizations in 10 countries to collaborate with 3M / PYXERA Global within the 3M Global Impact Program, for "Integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) principles with the strategic vision and operational sustainability of NANG"; 3. Selected for collaboration in 2023 with the Iraq-based, newly established MERG Foundation, implementing women empowerment programs focused in rural areas of Iraqi Kurdistan; 4. Acknowledged for its impactful work in Greece by the General Fisheries Commission of the Mediterranean (GFCM), Food and Agriculture Organization, United Nations (FAO), and invited to attend the International Workshop on Algae Cultivation and Innovation in Saudi Arabia; 5. Exploring synergies with GFCM, regarding developing programs in the Mediterranean, locally adapting NANG methodologies on knowledge transfer and community building, collaborating and empowering local stakeholders.

Emfasis is the brainchild of a team of Greek citizens living overseas who work hand in hand with social experts and volunteers, providing a humanitarian response to Greece's dire needs during one of its deepest socio-economic crisis in history. Emfasis was founded to address the holistic needs of all vulnerable and socially excluded groups in need of social, psychological , family support using the principles of Social Street Working as its main way of approach and identification of such groups. It also offers advisory support whilst devising a full care programme for each case. Emfasis Social Street Work operates on a neighborhood level, or at areas where it has been identified that there are vulnerable "pockets" of population. One Happy Family (OHF) is a collaborative community-based project with the aim of filling the gaps created by insufficient governmental interventions through the provision of basic human needs, security and stability at various levels. Our mission is to provide a space where everyone feels welcome, everyone has the possibility to grow, to learn, to be involved and where everyone's skills are valued. Ultimately, OHF strives to address, act on, and reduce prejudices against displaced people. OHF is a Swiss-founded organization, initially established on Lesvos Island in 2017 as a direct response to the refugee crisis of 2015. In Lesvos, OHF operated a community space in which people could visit during the day, with varying activities and services including, but not limited to, food, basic needs items and clothing distribution, as well as educational programs. Now based in Victoria Community Centre in Athens, having relocated mainland from Lesvos Island in March 2022, One Happy Family (OHF) continues to respond to the direct needs of displaced persons, now within an urban context. Crucially, we work WITH the people, not FOR them - including the communities into the daily tasks, decision making processes and coordination is within our core values and helps us to constantly adjust our projects to the existing needs. Our programmes addresse the growing need for social integration within the refugee and asylum seeking communities in Greece by providing a safe space where asylum seekers and refugees can meet other like-minded individuals, but also collaboratively learn and share valuable skills that can assist with integration into their social surroundings.

Medicins sans frontieres is an international humanitarian aid organisation. We offer medical assistance to population in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflicts, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion or political affiliation.

ANKAA Project strengthens communities affected by forced migration and/or unemployment, by offering a quality program in tailoring coupled with language skills and employability support. Our program is aimed at social inclusion and employability for decent work opportunities in Greece and in Europe. Our revenue-generating activities offer job opportunities to experienced workers and/or former ANKAA students. Our products reflect and promote sustainability for the people, the project and the planet. We create long lasting and custom-made fashion products implementing responsible production and fair trade. The project and its partners advocate for social inclusion, equal opportunities and a celebration of cultures and skills.
