Our Rotary Club is based in Newent, a small market town in Gloucestershire. Newent Club meets weekly at The Red Lion in the Market Square, where members &, guests join in fun and fellowship . New members are most welcome, where you will meet & make new friends. The Club supports numerous international, national & local charities by fund raising at various activities & events. Whilst we support the small local community of Newent & its surrounding districts, the Club also benefits from being part of the international world wide Rotary Organisation, whose motto is 'Service above Self'.

Befrienders Highland

Befrienders Highland offers 1-1 befriending to people experiencing mental ill health, memory loss or who are a carer. Friendships are between the befriendee and a trained volunteer, either: face-to-face, by telephone or e-mail/letter. The aim of the friendship is to reduce loneliness & isolation.

Friends of St Mary's Ross-on-Wye

The Friends of St. Mary's raise money to help maintain the fabric of our 700 year old church and its iconic spire. The church building and spire is a vital part of the townscape. This is reflected in our membership, which is drawn from all parts of the town, not just the church congregation

St Luke's with Christchurch PCC

Set in a culturally diverse, socially deprived, part of inner city Bristol, St Luke's offers friendship and support to the local community. We provide for those in need: children and families; older people; members of the local Somali community and those who are homeless or coping with addictions.

The fund offers support to local children with serious illnesses and disabilities, providing specialist equipment, and organised activities.We help children with a wide range of medical conditions including Cancer, Leukaemia, Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Epilepsy and Downs Syndrome.
