Befrienders Highland offers 1-1 befriending to people experiencing mental ill health, memory loss or who are a carer. Friendships are between the befriendee and a trained volunteer, either: face-to-face, by telephone or e-mail/letter. The aim of the friendship is to reduce loneliness & isolation.
The Friends of St. Mary's raise money to help maintain the fabric of our 700 year old church and its iconic spire. The church building and spire is a vital part of the townscape. This is reflected in our membership, which is drawn from all parts of the town, not just the church congregation

The fund offers support to local children with serious illnesses and disabilities, providing specialist equipment, and organised activities.We help children with a wide range of medical conditions including Cancer, Leukaemia, Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Epilepsy and Downs Syndrome.
