PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) is widely understood to be a profile on the autism spectrum, involving the avoidance of everyday demands and the use of ‘social’ strategies as part of this. PDA individuals share autistic characteristics and also have many of the ‘key features’ of a PDA profile. We provide information, support and training about PDA for individuals, families and professionals. Our information resources reach 500,000 people a year via our website and social media. All our services are run by the PDA community and include:• an enquiry line• an online forum• information resources• training• conference every other yearWe also share good practice, work in partnership with other organisations and promote research on PDA.
