Pulp Friction CIO is a Nottingham-based charity empowering the lives of Learning Disabled and Autistic adults. We are passionate about our Members having the confidence and opportunities to be whoever they want to be.
We provide emergency food support and advocacy services toindividuals and families in Haddington and the wider Lammermuir area. Established in 2021, this volunteer-led community initiative provides a vital lifeline for those facing financial hardship, food insecurity, and social isolation.

We have been singing works by Bach, Brahms, Faure, Handel, Haydn, Mozart and of course Elgar since 1950 but part of our aim as a charity is ‘to educate and inform the public’ in things musical and particularly choral. This we do by performing lesser known works as well as more popular ones. We also encourage younger people to sing with us by offering a reduced subscription, and more recently, a form of ‘musical apprenticeship’.
