So far, 346 scholarships have been awarded to students that are positively transforming their personal, academic and working lives and supporting the development of their communities.The candidates' profile has been students interested in critical areas for Colombia's development, leadership and with limited economic resources to pursue postgraduate studies. A successful process starts with the selection of the right candidates where the Foundation ensures that the resources obtained by donations are properly used. We also have procedures and structures that follow the performance of students. We ensure that each scholarship awarded ends with a successful degree. Over 300,000 students engage in the YRE programme yearly. The iconic Blue Flag programme is one of the world's most recognized eco-tourism awards for beaches, marinas, and tourist boat operators. In order to qualify for the Blue Flag, a series of stringent environmental, educational, safety, and accessibility criteria must be met and maintained. Over 5,000 beaches, marinas and tourism boats are currently awarded. Green Key is a voluntary eco-certification programme. With more than 4,000 certified hotels and other establishments in 60 countries, Green Key is the leading standard for excellence in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainable operation within the tourism and hospitality industry. With 40 years of impactful experience in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), FEE's strategic plan - GAIA 20:30 - prioritises climate action across all five programmes to address the urgent threats of climate change, biodiversity loss and environmental pollution. FEE's Environmental Education Principles The member organisations of FEE have agreed upon these principles to guide our work towards excellence in EE/ESD: 1. Verdaderos Heroes is a non-profit foundation that works with children, adolescent mothers and mothers who are heads of household in Colombia, who are in a state of vulnerability in situations of poverty, abuse, abandonment, displacement, domestic violence and lack of job opportunities. , so that they receive training and psychological support, in the form of didactic workshops, weaving workshops, events, outings, etc., and that through these practices they raise their self-esteem, their values, principles and self-confidence and in this way They grow up, are formed as good citizens, as women who are aware of their role in society and can generate an economic income for their livelihood, through the creation of woven dolls with a purpose. The Ben Raemers Foundation aims to end the stigma and burden that so often clouds issues of mental health by bringing awareness of these issues and suicide to the forefront within the wider skateboarding community. The Ben Raemers Foundation aims to relieve the needs of people with mental health issues or those at risk of mental health issues, in particular but not exclusively those within the skateboarding community, in the UK by: (i) Providing educational resources to inform people about mental health issues (ii) Providing training schemes for volunteers, and the general public and service providing organisations, to raise awareness and increase the ability to assist those in need.
