Crohn's & Colitis Australia

At CCA we dream of a future that is free of Crohn's and colitis. We empower people to live fearlessly while we help search for a cure. At CCA we're about improving quality of life by helping people understand, respond to and actively manage their care. We want people to be authentic and unapologetic about their Crohn's or colitis - whether that leaves them laughing or crying. On our journey to finding a cure, our ambition is to empower and support our community - encouraging innovation, advancing quality of care and facilitating new knowledge informed by deeper research. Fundamentally, we are an advocate and an educator, leading tough conversations about taboo topics. We know being fearless means there will still be bad days, bad months or bad years - this is a long-term and life-altering condition. It's about giving people the courage, confidence and ability to face things head on. Because in fearlessness, there is strength.

ITTF Foundation

Founded in 2018, the ITTF Foundation was created by the International Table Tennis Federation as an independent nonprofit organization. The Foundation aims to create positive impacts through table tennis in communities worldwide. The ITTF Foundation operates through five programs to foster development through table tennis, contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The team tirelessly designs and implements initiatives that promote inclusivity, education, and empowerment, ensuring that the sport becomes a catalyst for positive social change. As a nonprofit organization we collaborate closely with local project implementation partners while we assist with planning, financial support, and knowledge sharing. Additionally, we connect with the Parkinson's community globally to promote the use of table tennis for enhancing well-being and health, particularly against neurodegenerative diseases.

Sisterworks Incorporated

MISSION Through work and entrepreneurship, our mission is to support women who are refugees, asylum seekers or migrants to improve their confidence, mental wellbeing, sense of belonging and economic outlook. VISION Our vision is an Australia where all migrant women are given the opportunities to become economically empowered. ABOUT SISTERWORKS At SisterWorks we believe Work Empowers Women. Over the past 10 years, we supported over 2,000 migrant, refugee, and asylum seeker women from 105 countries to build a better life in Australia through skills training and work opportunities. We are a certified social enterprise focusing on partnerships with industries to generate social and economic values for migrant, refugee and asylum seeker women in Australia. INTERSECTIONALITY AND SISTERWORKS' EXPERIENCE Migrant, refugee and asylum seeking women represent some of the most vulnerable and marginalised people in Victoria. Many women within this community tend to suffer from low-levels of English, limited work experience, low confidence, isolation and domestic violence. These issues affect their overall economic and social participation within the broader community and thus, there is a need to address both the confidence and financial wellbeing of these disadvantaged women. BY WOMEN FOR WOMEN SisterWorks is a female-led and diverse workforce. All staff members identify as female including all senior staff. In addition, 76% of our staff and 60% volunteers have lived experience as a refugee or migrant woman. SisterWorks is a grass-roots organisation, our programs are developed, run and received by CALD women. Through an intersectional, person-centred and holistic focus, we understand the support needed by our target cohort and the diversity in their individual needs. To further this, our focus groups centering on the woman's long-term and immediate goals ensures the adaptability, sustainability and suitability of programs. LOCATION SisterWorks have presence in: Abbotsford, Melbourne - Headquarters of SisterWorks, our Programs and Social Enterprise Production. Richmond, Melbourne - Crafted Culture Cafe and SisterWorks Retail store. Dandenong, Melbourne - Empowerment Hub. Minus18 Foundation Inc

The Minus18 Foundation is Australia's youth driven charity for LGBTIQ youth. For over 20 years, Minus18 has been running high impact LGBTIQ events, education and consultation programs to create peer-support, safe spaces and inclusive environments, across Australia. Every year: Deliver more than 100 workshops, keynotes and presentations More than 10,000 people attend Minus18 events and workshops Distribute more than 50,000 Rainbow Pride merchandise across Australia More than 500,000 people engage with education and resources online. You might know us from our events, such as the Queer Formal which we take across the country, where young people aged 13-19 can bring a same-sex partner, express their gender identity and meet link-minded young people. We work together with local community groups to engage queer youth with their services, engage with opportunities and have an unforgettable evening of celebrating their identity. In 2018, we also ran the first-of-its kind Queer Ideas Festival, where we consulted with 120 LGBTIQ young people around what they want to see from the Government, Community and Organisations, which was then captured in our Young & Queer Report. Minus18 also delivers LGBTIQ Inclusion Workshops which develop empathy and understanding of LGBTIQ people, and equip participants with the tools they need to develop a culture of inclusion, acceptance and allyship within schools, organisations and communities. We've taken these across the country, with a focus across 2019-2020 to deliver subsidized opportunities to Regional and Rural areas. Our Events and Workshops wouldn't exist through the donations and support received through our campaigns such as IDAHOBIT, Wear it Purple Day and Trans Week of Awareness. These help us educate, create visibility and build opportunities, allowing Minus18 to work with communities and organisations to help drive our work - with 100% of proceeds from donations and all our Rainbow Pride resources going to LGBTIQ youth programs.
