Foodbank NSW & ACT is the state and territory's largest food relief organisation, providing much-needed food assistance to individuals and families through our network of community partners across NSW and the ACT. Our mission is to end hunger in our communities. We believe everyone should have access to the food they need, and we're here for everyday Australians who are going without. As an organisation, we exist to source food and make it accessible to those who need it. We do this through three crucial steps - sourcing, supplying, and transporting food to make it accessible to people in every corner of our state and territory. We're proud to work close to 800 local community partners and more than 900 schools to distribute food to those facing hunger in our communities.

Early childhood is a critical time for a child's emotional, mental, and physical development. It can have a significant outcome on their development and future health, well-being, and employment outcomes. In fact, children raised in poverty are two to three years behind in literacy and numeracy by age 15. Through the provision of age appropriate toys, formula, and safety equipment for babies and toddlers, we aid in the positive development of the children we support, so they can thrive.
