Sustainability that humanizes: three dimensions that transform poverty: We want people to get out of poverty. That is our truth. A certainty that we do not intend to stop stating in this way. At least we do not want to give up saying it, that is our food for the journey. But we also know that this enormous burden of hope and dreams contains a great challenge that has to be embedded in reality to find concrete ways of realization. We know that entering into the field of poverty itself is an exercise that requires all our energies; in many cases, work in contexts of vulnerability is frustrating and has huge rates of failure. We are also aware that around the world of poverty there are many interests (political, media, cultural, economic) that make it extremely difficult to trust the real human being before us, who is experiencing poverty, and that this conditions the proposal and the response to initiatives that seek concrete solutions. However, we fully believe that it is possible to initiate processes of change. We know this because there are many initiatives that have been successful (this inspires us), because we trust in the path we have taken through our own personal experiences of working in poverty, and because we have started a reflective process that resulted in a concrete proposal. The inequality gap continues to grow in the world, we do not need to reflect statistics since they are easy to find. But thinking specifically about Argentina we want to point out a particular characteristic that we will try to address: in many cases poverty is related to the countryside and the city. That is, the 2010 census showed that the rural population is the one that is growing the most in the country (in terms of birth rate) but since agribusiness significantly reduces the space for mobility and exploitation of the land, almost half of the peasantry must leave their homes to live in the outskirts of large cities, thus changing their lifestyle completely and becoming marginalized from society. This is the tragic fate that has been suffered by the majority of the country's poor. This is why we seek to respond to poverty in both urban and rural areas. We have become sensitive to both contexts, knowing that if we work in rural areas we help reduce the number of urban poor tomorrow. And we are also certain that addressing urban poverty is responding to the rural displaced of today, or of some past generations. Our approach will be through three dimensions that we consider key to providing effective solutions to the problem of poverty and misery: Governance, Circular Economy and Territory. We will develop them below. These three dimensions must be framed within a horizon of sustainability. That is, the processes that will be initiated have to be permeated by a strong imprint of durability, they have to be sustained over time. In this way, people will gain autonomy and stability. We feel that poverty dehumanizes and that getting out of poverty is recovering humanity. Discovering our humanity makes us less poor. Becoming more human offers us a horizon of remuneration in accordance with our aspirations. And fair compensation opens the doors for us to own what is ours, to be what we are. Threats or weaknesses of our life in the community (external and internal). What aspects of our community need to be improved, how can we produce better, and what aspects of our daily life are difficult or we cannot solve alone? What are our aspirations regarding the products we sell, what could we do together to improve this situation, and what implications do our economic transactions have with the territory in which we live? What do we understand by well-being, what aspects of our living in the territory do we value, and which do not? How could we achieve greater community well-being and strengthen our roots in our place?

We seek to create awareness and sustainability about the importance of the environment, its resources, biodiversity and culture. We unify our work in three interconnected branches: EXPLORE, RECORD, COMMUNICATE with the hope of generating a multiplier effect on the health of the planet.

KNE Sustainability Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting global sustainable thinking and action. Our goal is to accelerate the dissemination of sustainability knowledge through modern media and e-learning. We are funded through partnerships, grants, and collaborations with organizations committed to sustainability and regeneration. Our key initiatives include the Global Goals Compass, a tool that provides guidance on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and ReGen.rocks, an interactive social learning platform designed to educate young people on sustainability, connect them in a social network and match them with regenerative projects. Additionally, we connect researchers in the field of sustainable development, create innovative e-learning programs, and support companies and organizations in effectively implementing sustainability and regeneration strategies. We support education and access to food in vulnerable communities of El Impenetrable (Chaco), promoting dignity, inclusion and opportunity through solidarity and community-driven work

Established in 1981, the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) is one of the world's largest environmental education organisations, with over 100 member organisations in 81 countries. At the heart of the FEE are our five programmes. Coordinated by the Head Office in Copenhagen and implemented by our members around the world, our programmes aim to bring positive change on a global scale: The internationally recognized Eco-Schools programme engages young people in quality environmental education and meaningful action. Through a seven-step framework, pupils are empowered and motivated to drive change and improve environmental awareness in their school, local community and beyond. Close to 50,000 schools around the world are part of the Eco-Schools programme. Learning about Forests (LEAF) advocates for outdoor learning and hands-on experiences, allowing students to connect with nature and develop a deeper understanding of the natural world. While the LEAF programme started with a focus on tree-based ecosystems, today it includes a diversity of ecosystems to foster skills and knowledge by exposing learners to outdoor experiences. LEAF is implemented in 28 countries. Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE) is an award-winning programme that empowers young people to take an educated stand on environmental issues they feel strongly about and gives them a platform to articulate these issues through the media of writing, photography and video. Over 300,000 students engage in the YRE programme yearly. The iconic Blue Flag programme is one of the world's most recognized eco-tourism awards for beaches, marinas, and tourist boat operators. In order to qualify for the Blue Flag, a series of stringent environmental, educational, safety, and accessibility criteria must be met and maintained. Over 5,000 beaches, marinas and tourism boats are currently awarded. Green Key is a voluntary eco-certification programme. With more than 4,000 certified hotels and other establishments in 60 countries, Green Key is the leading standard for excellence in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainable operation within the tourism and hospitality industry. With 40 years of impactful experience in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), FEE's strategic plan - GAIA 20:30 - prioritises climate action across all five programmes to address the urgent threats of climate change, biodiversity loss and environmental pollution. FEE's Environmental Education Principles The member organisations of FEE have agreed upon these principles to guide our work towards excellence in EE/ESD: 1. Ensure that participants are engaged in the learning/teaching process. 2. Encourage participants to make reasonable decisions and actions on real life sustainability issues. 3. Encourage participants to work together actively and involve their communities in collaborative solutions. 4. Nuestras Huellas is a non-profit organization that workes to help people living under social vulnerability gain economic independence and realize their life goals through financial solidarity and education, fostering sustainable development. 97% of participants in our programs are women. We operate with two main strategies: Training Program: Implementing learning spaces (courses, workshops, lectures, etc) centered around: financial education, business management, leadership, and communication Microfinance Program: Promoting solidarity economy by accompanying community banks and solidarity groups, technical assistance, access to microcredits and training Objectives We facilitate people's path to self-empowerment so they can recognize their own skills and abilities to promote their personal development. This is achieved through training programs where we cover issues including finance, entrepreneurial skills, digital literacy, communication, and leadership. All this training takes place in regular meetings coordinated by our team, based on the idea that knowledge is co-created through hands-on activities. We work to strengthen the economic independence of people in vulnerable situations through solidarity finance and education, promoting sustainable and community-driven development. 97% of the people we serve are women entrepreneurs We carry out this work in alliance with social organizations, companies, governments, among others. We've supported over 4000 projects.
