Established in 1980, SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) has been delivering frontline humanitarian aid for 40 years. We are Charmaghz! A Kabul-based registered non-profit organization. Charmaghz is dedicated to promoting critical thinking among Afghan children. We are a group of young Afghans who have witnessed war and its direct impact on our childhood firsthand. Our childhood, like millions of other Afghan children, was lost before we could live it. The pain brings us together in order to make a difference in other children's lives. We believe that creating a supportive and enabling environment such as Charmaghz where children can wonder, read, ask questions, be themselves and can have fun, will help our children grow to positive and open-minded individuals. will lead to innovation and development of the country as a whole. It will also contribute to creating a just and equal society.

Taghyeer Organization/ We Love Reading Program is an innovative model that provides a practical, cost efficient, sustainable, grassroots approach empowering communities from low and mid income communities around the world to create changemakers through reading. WLR supports the activism of local volunteers to increase reading levels among children 2-10 by focusing on the readaloud experience to instill the love of reading for pleasure among children to become lifelong learners. We aim to create system change. We create changemakers by recruiting and training adults and youth from local communities to provide read-aloud sessions for local children in safe, public spaces. Each year, WLR volunteers read to tens of thousands of children in public parks, community centers, mosques and other faith-based settings, nurseries, refugee camps, and other locales. We serve diverse populations and communities irrespective of gender, religion, social status, disability, literacy level, educational experience, etc. The training is either implemented in face-to-face settings or via our online platform to allow reaching wider audience of people wanting to volunteer and become reading ambassadors.

AAA principal objective is to improve the treatment, working conditions, and status of working animals in the developing world. Our supporting objectives are to TREAT, EQUIP, EDUCATE and RESCUE as follows: To develop partnerships with local registered charity groups for the implementation of programmes consistent with the objectives of the Association II. To foster co-operative efforts and the pooling of resources by and among the Association, government agencies, universities, partner organisations, animal welfare groups and other organisations and persons with a concern for the welfare of working animals III. To provide for or support the rescue of abused, abandoned and/or injured working animals IV. To provide for or support in the rehoming, rehabilitation and/or refuge of rescued working animals V. To provide and/or support the establishment and/or operation of veterinary clinics and mobile units to treat sick or injured working animals and educate the owners VI. To support programmes that empower and educate animal owners and/or handlers to improve the lives of their working animals, and consequently their own wellbeing and livelihood VII. To aid in the development and implementation of education programmes in schools to break the generational abuse cycle VIII. To raise public awareness and advocate change for the plight of the working animals in developing communities and to promote kindness, empathy and understanding towards animals IX. To provide assistance in situations affecting working animals and their owners affected by natural disasters and in times of critical need X.
