Covenant House California (CHC) is a non-profit agency whose mission is to reach out to at-risk homeless youth living on the streets and offer them hope and opportunities to turn their lives around. We help abused or neglected youth who have nowhere else to go. A large number have been thrown out of their homes while others have aged out or left the foster care system with no family, no support, and no one to turn to. Since 1988, CHC has impacted the lives of more than 160,000 homeless youth out of our Los Angeles and Bay Area locations. More than 80% of our funding comes from private donations.

The Ruth Ellis Center (REC), incorporated in 1999, is a youth social services agency with a mission “to provide short-term and long-term residential safe space and support services for runaway, homeless, and at-risk lesbian, gay, bi-attractional, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.” As LGBTQ youth continue to be disproportionately affected by homelessness, the Ruth Ellis Center remains dedicated to ensuring that these vulnerable youth and young adults receive the services and inherent protections available to all citizens. While the Center emphasizes serving LGBTQ youth who are often ostracized, shamed, and denied services by other agencies, no youth, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation is turned away or denied services

We equip teen girls with community tools and resources to activate their personal power and world impact through peer leadership, life skills education, mentoring, and youth advocacy.

Moms Against Poverty is a global 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to lessen the incidence and effects of poverty for impoverished children around the world. StreetCode’s mission is to invigorate innovation within our communities. We provide historically economically disadvantaged people of color in our community with the high-tech skills, confidence, and access to networks needed to enter the technology industry. We offer free courses in coding, entrepreneurship, and design. StreetCode engages communities seeking justice, innovation, and tech-driven economic opportunities. Through building mindset, skills and networks, we equip individuals and families with resources they seek to expand their life options. Through tech education, we empower communities of color to use their authentic voices and diverse perspectives to realize self-determination. Through our innovation, we transform and create industry that truly represents the vitality and diversity of our world.

Family Legacy is a faith-based, Christian, God-led organization that exists to glorify God by empowering vulnerable children in Zambia to live out their God-given potential. We do this by engaging more than 10,000 individuals and families from around the world with God’s heart for these children, face-to-face and heart-to-heart, through the power of God’s word, quality education and residential care.With almost 14,000 Zambian children attending one of our private Christian Legacy Academy schools, Family Legacy is not an orphanage or a missionary organization or an economic development organization. We are a unique NGO focused on caring for orphaned and vulnerable/at-risk Zambian children on a variety of levels.

BayKids empowers children facing medical challenges to express themselves and find joy through the art of filmmaking.

The Art of Elysium is a Los Angeles based non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, founded in 1997, that encourages artists to dedicate their time and talent to under-served, at risk, and hospitalized children whose lives are constantly disrupted by hardship or chronic and often terminal illness. Every week we bring hands on workshops, led by local artists, free of charge to these children.
