A new pair of shoes can be a life-changing event for a child. School attendance, self-esteem and behavior improve. Physical activity increases. Smiles return. All from an often over-looked item—a good pair of shoes. Our vision is that, one day, every child in America who needs new shoes gets new shoes, allowing all children the opportunity to reach their highest potential.

Ryther provides exceptional therapeutic services to young people who are struggling emotionally and behaviorally so they may find a path to healing and hope. Each year, Ryther heals and gives hope to over 2000 young people and their families in western Washington who struggle with mental illness, trauma, substance use, and autism, through a variety of therapeutic services, including inpatient care, and partnerships with community organizations.

CoachArt’s mission is to bring joy and possibility to every child impacted by serious illness. Children living with serious illnesses may feel isolated because of their conditions. Frequent hospital visits and deficient immune systems often cause them to miss time in school and recreational activities. Families, overwhelmed by the cost and demands of ongoing medical care, often lack the resources to seek out or afford extracurricular activities. Healthy siblings are affected too when family resources are focused on a seriously ill child. CoachArt supports these families by offering free recreational lessons that bring a sense of normalcy back into their lives. Since 2001, CoachArt has connected kids with serious illnesses and their siblings with caring mentors for free adaptive arts, athletics, and STEM lessons. Our vision is a world where every child impacted by serious illness can create, connect, and thrive.

Our mission is to improve the experience, outcomes, and survival of teens and young adults with cancer by providing facilities and programs designed especially for them in hospitals throughout the USA.

Founded in 2000, Glamourgals organizes and inspires teen volunteers to provide ongoing companionship and complimentary beauty makeovers to women in senior homes. Through this experience: Elderly residents in care feel a renewed sense of community and self-worth. Teen volunteers gain essential leadership skills demonstrating empathy and compassion through our intergenerational programming.

We are the world’s premier community running organization, and our efforts and events serve all runners and active individuals, from beginners to professional athletes: the young, the elderly, and the underserved of all abilities.We impact the lives of people throughout the five boroughs and around the world through a wide variety of events and programs for people of all ages and abilities.
