City Parks Foundation improves New York City's parks through innovative programming, connecting people to parks and creating healthy and vibrant urban spaces with a dedicated constituency of people to champion them. We work in over 800 parks citywide, presenting a broad range of free arts, sports, and education programs, and empowering citizens to support their parks on a local level. Our programs and community building initiatives reach more than 600,000 people each year, contributing to the revitalization of neighborhoods throughout New York City.

… PASS IT ON Generations For Peace is a leading global non-profit peace-building organisation founded by HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein and Sarah Kabbani Al-Feisal in 2007. Dedicated to sustainable conflict transformation at the grassroots, Generations For Peace empowers volunteer leaders of youth to promote active tolerance and responsible citizenship in communities experiencing different forms of conflict and violence. Carefully-facilitated sport-based games, arts, advocacy, dialogue and empowerment activities provide an entry point to engage children, youth and adults, and a vehicle for integrated education and sustained behavioural change. OUR MISSION: Our Mission is “To empower youth to lead and cascade sustainable change in communities experiencing conflict, through world class, free education in conflict transformation and the use of sport, art, advocacy, dialogue and empowerment for peace building”.  

In partnership with the City of New York and the community, the Prospect Park Alliance restores, develops, and operates Prospect Park for the enjoyment of all by caring for the natural environment, preserving historic design, and serving the public through facilities and programs. Prospect Park's 585 acres of meadows, waterfalls, forest, lakes, and athletic facilities comprise a masterwork of urban green space.

Asphalt Green is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to assisting individuals of all ages and background achieve health through a lifetime of sports and fitness. Community Service is at the core of our origin and the heart of our mission. Located in New York City, our we reach 30,000 kids in four boroughs through our free community programs.

So Kids SOAR, a not-for-profit section 501(c)(3), provides life-changing programs that empower youth with physical and developmental disabilities to Strive, Own, Achieve and Realize their potential. We enable participants to SOAR through a suite of adaptive programming that includes athletic, recreational, and skill-building activities

The Painted Turtle’s mission is to provide a year-round, life-changing environment and authentic camp experience for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. The Painted Turtle supports children’s medical needs, inspires them to reach beyond their illnesses, and provides care, education and respite for their families. All campers and families attend free of charge. Of the more than one million children in California with chronic and life-threatening illnesses, our needs assessment revealed more than 17,500 are unable to attend summer camp due to their medical conditions. That is, until we came along! The Painted Turtle provides these children and their families with an empowering, renewing experience completely free of charge. The Painted Turtle offers year-round programs including: Spring and Fall Family Weekends for the entire family, one-day family events, week-long Summer Sessions, and hospital/community outreach programs.
