THE MEALS ARE DELIVERED TO EACH HOME FIVE DAYS A WEEK YEAR-ROUND BY VOLUNTEERS. HUTCHINSON MEALS ON WHEELS PROVIDED A TOTAL OF 30,143 MEALS IN 2022.

Community Hospice of Texas gives comfort to patients and families facing the end of life in carrying out its mission to provide compassionate end-of-life care. Leaders in healthcare and philanthropy created Community Hospice of Texas in May 1996 to preserve the unique gifts of not-for-profit hospice care in North Texas. Within in a year, it was the largest not-for-profit hospice in Texas. Today Community Hospice of Texas (operating as Providence Hospice in the Waco area) cares for more than 4,000 patients and families annually, providing adult and pediatric hospice and palliative care, bereavement support, advance care planning resources and more to patients in 25 North Texas counties.
One Generation Away is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to Wipe hunger off the face of America by teaching people to love one another through service. One Generation Away distributes healthy foods to low income families throughout Middle Tennessee that currently do not have access to food sources due to economic and physical barriers. One Generation Away has addressed this need by establishing a mobile food pantry that delivers meals to low income communities.
