THE CENTER OWNS AND OPERATES A 141 BED NURSING HOME THAT PROVIDES INPATIENT LONG-TERM CARE AND RECUPERATIVE SERVICES FOR ITS PATIENTS.

THE MISSION OF MOUNT PLEASANT HOME IS TO PROVIDE HOUSING AND SERVICE OPTIONS FOR ELDERS WITH EMPHASIS ON SERVING A DIVERSE POPULATION AND GIVING PRIORITY TO THOSE WITH LIMITED FINANCIAL RESOURCES AND INADEQUATE SUPPORT SYSTEMS.

Labouré College is the longest educator of nurses in Boston. They were founded by the Daughters of Charity, a Catholic order of nuns dedicated to caring for the sick and underserved with compassion. LifePath, an Area Agency on Aging (AAA), is a private, non-profit corporation that develops, provides, and coordinates a range of services to support independent living. LifePath provides home and community programs for the area known as Franklin County, plus the four Worcester County towns of Athol, Petersham, Phillipston, and Royalston for elders, persons with disabilities, and caregivers as the Aging Services Access Point (ASAP) and AAA. LifePath also operates programs in Hampshire, Hampden, and Berkshire Counties.
