TODAY, ALMOST HALF OF ALL AMERICANS DO NOT KNOW WHAT AUSCHWITZ WAS AND CANNOT NAME A SINGLE CONCENTRATION CAMP OR GHETTO, DESPITE OVER 40,000 EXISTING.WITH EACH NEW GENERATION, THE MEMORY OF THE PLIGHT OF THE VICTIMS FADES, THE STORIES ARE FORGOTTEN, HATE AND BIGOTRY RISE, AND THE NEED FOR AWARENESS AND EDUCATION INCREASES.
