The Armed Forces Service Center was founded by Maggie Purdum on November 22,1970, after her son died in Vietnam. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, the center relies on funding from various veterans’ organizations and their auxiliaries as well as private businesses and individuals.

To memorialize and honor the sacrifices of all those who have rendered loyal, faithful, heroic, and self-sacrificing service at home and overseas, while members of our armed forces or through civilian capacity. The Foundation seeks to bring military and civilian families together by helping to relieve the burdens of family separation and hardships, through direct assistance for basic needs, historical education, and patriotic avenues.

Providing a "home away from home" for military and veterans' families to be close to a loved one during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee.

CHAMP provides wellness activities for veterans and their families in order to positively impact the trajectory of their behavioral health.

Northeast Florida Women Veterans, Inc. is focused on ensuring women who have served on active duty, National Guard or Reserves and their children, transition into the civilian community with the tools they need to become self-sufficient

The Honor Bell Foundation’s mission is to create a community of veterans to foster public appreciation of military service and honor their fellow veterans with a proper, final tribute.

The organization was granted a charter as a not for profit corporation for patriotic and educational purposes with special concern for the welfare of veterans. The organization's principal activities consist of advising and assisting veterans with respect to their benefits, advocating on behalf of veterans, and fundraising for various civic and religious causes.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES AID, ASSISTANCE, EXPERIENCES, PURPOSE, INSPIRATION AND HOPE TO CHILDREN BATTLING SERIOUS MEDICAL CONDITIONS, MILITARY VETERANS IN NEED, AND THEIR FAMILIES.

John T. Holzum Memorial Foundation was created to continue the tradition of giving set forth by my father, John T. Holzum. He was a man of great integrity and character. He gave of himself relentlessly while being a great husband, exceptional father of six children, owning a business, serving as president of a school board, and serving as Faithful Navigator of his Knights of Columbus council. John T. Holzum Memorial Foundation produces events to raise funds for a variety of benefactors. Country Family Reunion benefits the USO of Missouri, and Mission Possible benefits Professor Craig & Shari Miner's mission trips to foreign orphanages to assist children with disabilities. The foundation funds a variety of special needs cases, including sending underprivileged children to Summer camp, buying Christmas presents for homeless children, and purchasing a violin for a young aspiring musician. The foundation will start a scholarship for two graduating high school seniors beginning in 2018. We intend to serve more causes as our foundation grows! John T. Military members nation-wide confront a multitude of problems during their careers, the last thing they need to worry about is their pet's care during their service commitments. Dogs On Deployment is a 501(c)(3) national non-profit which provides an online network for service members to search for volunteers who are willing to board their pets during their owner's service commitments. Dogs on Deployment promotes responsible, life-long pet ownership by military pet owners by advocating for military pet owner rights, providing educational resources and granting financial assistance for military pet owners during times of emergency.
