The Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention of Greater Indianapolis (CHIP) is a nonprofit agency created in 1996 to advocate for homeless and near-homeless people in Indianapolis and to help organizations that serve them work together to foster an effective, coordinated community-wide approach toward ending homelessness. By coordinating efforts, lives can be turned around, cities can be made healthier, and dollars can be stretched to better serve more people.

Serving Stark, Carroll, Tuscarawas, Harrison, and Jefferson Counties, Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio is a grass-roots, non-profit Christian ministry dedicated to eliminating substandard housing in the local community. Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat for Humanity provides hard-working, low-income families with an opportunity for homeownership that would not otherwise be possible. Families and individuals that partner with Habitat for Humanity help to build or renovate a home, then purchase their home with an affordable, zero-interest mortgage. WARREN FAMILY MISSION IS A CHRIST-CENTERED MISSION WHICH PROVIDES FOOD, SHELTER, CLOTHING, SPIRITUAL AND DRUG AND ALCOHOL REHABILITATION FREE OF CHARGE TO PARTICIPANTS FROM TRUMBULL COUNTY, OHIO, AND SURROUNDING AREAS.

Community Crisis Center, Inc. provides Safety, Hope, Advocacy, Respite and Education for those impacted by crisis and violence in Elgin, the Fox Valley Region and Illinois

Athletes C.A.R.E. is a growing organization of like-minded athletes, who provide unique, athletics-related service opportunities that support residents of communities in need. The mission of Athletes C.A.R.E. is to use athletics to make a lasting impact on the lives of others. We provide assistance and support to the needy, hungry, and homeless. Athletes C.A.R.E., a 501c3 nonprofit organization, is a network of young people at colleges across the country who turn their passion and energy as student-athletes into positive change in the communities in which they live, bettering the lives of others. We are young people “Creating Abundant Relief Effort.” We are Athletes C.A.R.E.

Our mission is to affect lasting change in the lives of homeless children and their families in Davie County. We want to share the common love of humanity with others by offering them a “hand up” instead of a “hand out.” Through our efforts together in the community, we will change lives.

The Shoebox Project collects and delivers gifts in-kind to women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Gifts are valued at $50 and contain a mixture of basic necessities and little luxuries. A gift from The Shoebox Project helps to reduce social isolation and is an important reminder for a woman living in poverty that despite her circumstances, she remains a valued member of her community. We are currently active in 9 cities across the USA (including New York, Chicago, Detroit, Pittsburgh) and in 35 Canadian cities.
