Assistance League volunteers transform the lives of children and adults through community programs.

The mission of Jackson County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is to be a child's voice in court. We recruit, train, and support lay volunteers who act as advocates on behalf of the best interests of children who have experienced abuse or neglect.   We have two goals: To secure a safe, permanent home for each child. To advocate for appropriate medical, educational, and therapeutic resources while the child is under Court jurisdiction.

NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri Foundation is the research and education arm of our movement. The Foundation does not do direct political work, but its work in the areas of consumer research, public policy, public education, and leadership development complement the advocacy work done by NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri.

Covenant House Missouri welcomes youth who are runaway, trafficked, at-risk, or experiencing homelessness with unconditional love, absolute respect and a place to call home.Beyond shelter and basic needs, we deliver transformative solutions to help young people ages 16 to 24 build productive, independent and sustainable lives.

Our mission is to provide firefighters that have cancer the chance to take an all-expense paid vacation with their family, giving them the opportunity to escape the stress, trauma, and financial impact that undergoing the treatment of cancer creates while involving the community and raising cancer awareness to the public.

Erie UpLink is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization committed to connecting Erie families with resources to fulfill their basic life needs, including connecting Erie families with opportunities to be of service to one another.

Cherrie On Top mission is to infuse youth to be strong steadfast professionals; specializing in diverse life-skills and positive influence through active programs.

Giving the Basics provides the necessities of life not covered by government assistance programs that most people take for granted such as laundry soap, shampoo, deodorant, toilet paper and other personal care hygiene products.  As Kansas City's hygiene hub Giving the Basics assures that adults and children in the metro have access to what they need to be clean, and live with health, hope and dignity.
