As cancer survivors, we embrace the moment and show the world that there can be a purposeful life after a cancer diagnoses. PINK PHURREE (pronounced "fury"), Texas' first all women and cancer survivor dragon Boat Team, was founded by Frances Arzu' in 2007. PINK PHURREE, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is an unconventional cancer support group where dragon boat paddling is used to promote active survivorship both on and off the water. As members of the International Breast Cancer Survivor Paddler Commission, we are a breast cancer survivor team. Even so, we do encourage survivors that have been diagnosed with other types of cancer to join our crew as well. As Pink Phurree embraces new survivors, the journey continues to expand our ability to touch and enrich many lives. No experience or athletic ability required!

Covenant House California (CHC) is a non-profit agency whose mission is to reach out to at-risk homeless youth living on the streets and offer them hope and opportunities to turn their lives around. We help abused or neglected youth who have nowhere else to go. A large number have been thrown out of their homes while others have aged out or left the foster care system with no family, no support, and no one to turn to. Since 1988, CHC has impacted the lives of more than 160,000 homeless youth out of our Los Angeles and Bay Area locations. More than 80% of our funding comes from private donations.

Clubs provide welcoming, positive environments in which kids have fun, participate in life-changing program and experiences and build supportive relationships with peers and caring adults. Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey is an alliance of 22 Boys & Girls Club organizations serving more than 55,000 youth ages 5-18 throughout the Garden State. Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey is a collaborative effort representing all 22 Clubs with the purpose of building local Club capacity; raising public awareness; and securing resources and financial support to increase the impact and reach of local Clubs. ADABI's mission is to prevent, advocate, counsel, and protect victims and families of domestic violence. The community-based non-profit provides domestic violence and sexual assault crisis intervention programs headquartered in Chinle, Arizona, in the Navajo Nation.

Harvesters—The Community Food Network has been our region’s solution to hunger for 38 years, serving as the community’s link between an abundant food supply and people in need. Our mission is to feed hungry people today and work to end hunger tomorrow. As the region’s only food bank, Harvesters’ expertise in distributing food and related products through our network of more than 620 nonprofit agencies is essential to communities across northwestern Missouri and northeastern Kansas. In partnership with emergency food pantries, community kitchens, shelters, daycare and senior centers, we offer more than 1,200 programs for food-insecure children, families, and seniors across 26 counties.
