D.O.G.S. 2717

D.O.G.S 2717 is a 501(3)(c) non-profit, family oriented organization centered on Christ. What started as a small group mentoring a handful of children in CPS has since blossomed into a city-wide movement that focuses on the art of giving. We are known best for our annual event that started 10 years ago called the “D.O.G.S. Best Christmas Ever”. The event brings volunteers together from all around the city to sponsor gifts and necessities for underprivileged and at-risk youth. We strive to make their Christmas one that mirrors the true reason for the season. They're able to enjoy games, food and gifts provided by individual sponsors and corporations. The D.O.G.S.'s family members and kids are encouraged to participate so they can experience the joy of giving.  We are dedicated to bringing people together to uphold what God's love is truly about. We build lasting relationships with volunteers and their families. Any and everyone is welcome! Our mission is to express our willingness to help those in need regardless of their race, religion or ethnic background. We desire to bring communities together and work as a whole to accomplish one common goal. The D.O.G.S. take pride in giving families and  volunteers an opportunity to bond. Our vision is to empower those that need support during unexpected setbacks and ongoing cycles of poverty.

Coleman Children And Youth Services

Coleman Advocates believes that all children and families deserve access to high quality education, living wage jobs, family-supporting benefits, affordable housing, and a voice in the decisions that affect us. Since 1975, Coleman Advocates has pioneered programs and policies to expand opportunity for San Francisco’s children, youth and families, Many of these hard-won programs and policies have served as models adopted by communities all over the country. Coleman currently focuses on building more effective, equitable, and supportive public schools in San Francisco and beyond. We believe the transformation of our educational system requires the involvement of the entire community—not just teachers, school administrators, and politicians. Our organizational model has evolved over the years and today combines the development of rigorous policy proposals and implementation plans with deep community engagement and leadership development involving youth and parents.

Jennifer Ireland Foundation

The Jennifer Ireland Foundation Inc., established in 2007 in accordance with IRS section 501©3 guidelines, is a not for profit corporation. Our mission is to honor Jennifer’s life and her courageous fight with colon cancer by providing financial grants to cancer patients and their families. Motivated by this mission, JIF is a unique foundation providing direct support to families. With a thorough but streamlined application process we are able to provide quick aid in paying those financial obligations that tend to stack up quickly during the toughest of times for families dealing with cancer. At the same time, we can do it in the name of a woman that has inspired many to embrace life and its many challenges. Cancer has affected each and every one of us in so many ways, but embracing the positives and supporting those stricken with the disease can boost hope when it is most needed. Many organizations fundraise to support efforts in the search for a cure to countless types of cancers. While we understand and support those efforts, JIF wants to help those families in the thick of the disease fighting each day for the next day with their loved ones.
