Gaithersburg HELP is an all-volunteer organization which was founded in 1968 by a consortium of Gaithersburg congregations. We provide basic needs assistance to area residents including food, medical prescriptions, infant needs, transportation for medical services, financial assistance to prevent eviction or utility cutoff and, provide referrals to providers of services not available through HELP. More than 45 years later our mission remains the same, meeting the basic needs of Gaithersburg area residents.

Grandmother's House Children's Center is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment. We recognize the value and worth of each child. Children are encouraged to learn through activities that are appropriate to their ages and individual stages of development. Children can choose among several activities and can play alone or in small groups. Our goal is to let children learn by experimentation and collaboration. They play with materials that inspire exploration and pretend play and are exposed to a literature rich environment.

The Mission of Parks Youth Ranch is to provide emergency shelter, counseling, and life changing services to abused, at-risk and homeless children ages 7-17.

The main goal of Greater Good International (aka Greater Good Haiti) is to provide remedial education for children who have otherwise no means of attending school, enabling them to better their lives and the lives of their families. GGH reinforces these efforts with a feeding program and health, wellness and environmental education to the students and surrounding community.

Our Mission is to strengthen, equip and encourage the Homewood community with hope by providing human services, youth ministry, counseling and education as a tangible expression of God's love.

Kids First Law Center gives children a voice in divorce and custody conflicts by providing focused legal representation and services to kids. In individual cases, Kids First's goals are to improve parents' communication and co-parenting, lessen the amount of conflict that children are exposed to, connect families with needed services, and make children's voices heard. Kids First also designed and offers educational workshops to children of divorcing parents. Parents can also find common ground in joint parenting sessions and can exchange their children with each other peacefully at Kids First's offices.
