The mission of Genesis is to provide an environment that allows homeless newborns to grow and develop in a nurturing and healthy surrounding. Genesis enables homeless families to remain together and creates a participatory community in which parents have the opportunity to live with their children in privacy and with dignity. In empowering families to achieve greater self-sufficiency, Genesis Shelter recognizes individual family needs and provides the resources to meet those needs.

The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy was established as a private, non-profit agency in 1987. The Center's purpose is to champion the needs of sexually and severely physically abused children through prevention, intervention, therapy and collaboration.  The mission is accomplished by conducting forensic interviews and evaluations, psychological treatment and crisis counseling, educating other professionals about child sexual abuse, and facilitating coordinated service between the public agencies involved in the investigation, prosecution, and treatment for each child we serve.

As a steward of God’s blessings and resources in our community, GRACE demonstrates compassion for those less fortunate by providing assistance to individuals and families in crisis and guidance toward self-sufficiency.

Greater Richmond SCAN (Stop Child Abuse Now) is dedicated solely to preventing and treating child abuse and neglect in the Richmond metropolitan area. We fulfill our mission through the following goals: 1) To deliver and promote programs that prevent and treat child abuse and 2) To increase public awareness of child abuse and neglect.

Guardian Angel Settlement Association exists to serve those living in poverty to improve the quality of thier lives and achieve economic independence.

The My Stuff Bags Foundation provides duffels of new belongings to children nationwide rescued from abuse, neglect, abandonment, child trafficking, and homelessness. Each year nearly 300,000 children enter foster care in America, tens of thousands more escape domestic violence and enter shelters with their mothers.Devastated by the experiences leading to their necessary removal from unacceptable environments, vulnerable rescued children often enter foster care and crisis shelters with nothing of their own. By rallying widespread individual, community, corporate and grantor involvement through our unique “My Stuff Bags Program”, we address the immediate physical and emotional needs of these disadvantaged children by providing childhood essentials and a message of hope

Room to Grow is dedicated to enriching the lives of babies born into poverty throughout their critical first three years of development. Parents are referred to Room to Grow by a network of prenatal programs assisting low-income families. Upon their referral, families visit Room to Grow's warm and inviting space once every three months from just before the birth of the baby until their child turns three. During their one-on-one appointments with our staff social workers, typically lasting two hours, parents receive developmental information, customized support, and all of the needed baby items to ensure a healthy and secure start for their child.

Hope Cottage's mission is to nurture and build families through eductaion, counseling and adoption services. Since 1918, Hope Cottage has helped more than 26,000 pregnant women make the best possible choices for themselves and their children. Our services for pregnant women are always free. Services include pregnancy counseling, case management services, assistance with basic needs and referrals to community resources.  

Infant Crisis Services provides life-sustaining formula, food and diapers to babies and toddlers in times of crisis...Because no baby should go hungry.
