Worthy of Love

An organization committed to transforming the way youth experience homelessness. We envision a world where every child can celebrate major life milestones, regardless of their financial background or living environment. Worthy of Love exists to create positive experiences and life-long memories for homeless youth and their families, by providing all-expenses-paid birthday parties to them as they navigate life's most challenging circumstances. Children and families who attend our parties are provided with meals, snacks, dessert, and a variety of exciting vendors to enjoy throughout the event. Our parties provide a safe environment for attendees and are secured and monitored by trained staff and security. Every child that attends our parties leaves with special gifts designed to inspire confidence and promote self-worth. Along with personalized birthday gifts, attendees receive school supplies, hygiene kits, and essential tools needed to thrive in day-to-day activities. Since 2013, Worthy of Love has thrown unforgettable birthday parties for over 20,000 children and teens experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles County.

Save the Children - Children's Emergency Fund

Millions of children are on the frontlines of conflict, their lives and futures at grave risk. Without immediate support, the world’s most vulnerable children are at risk of physical and emotional harm with devastating, lifelong consequences. That’s why Save the Children works in the hardest-to-reach places, where it’s toughest to be a child. But we need your help. Together, we can fight threats to children's lives. $50 can provide 10 warm, cozy blankets to children affected by conflict $100 helps supply a month’s worth of nutritious food to a family in crisis $200 could help provide psychosocial support to 20 children With your support, Save the Children is there before, during and after an emergency. Working together, we help communities become more resilient so that each time a crisis happens they are stronger, more likely to survive and able to recover more quickly. A Precious Child

A Precious Child assists children and families facing difficult life challenges such as abuse and neglect, crisis situations and poverty. We work with more than 400 agency partners throughout eight Denver Metro counties [Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson and Weld] to identify children and families in the most need of our services. Our core initiatives help build the whole child. In addition to meeting basic human needs through our Resource Center and Boutiques (satellite resource centers), we also help children and their families navigate community resources. This work is done through our COR (Child Outcomes Resource) Center where our Child Outcomes Advocates provide personalized case management to disadvantaged and displaced children and families, connecting them with needed resources, services, opportunities and educational support.
