In Israel, Hadassah initiates and supports pace-setting health care, education and youth institutions, and land development to meet the country's changing needs. Mighty Hero Homes exist to eradicate veteran homelessness by providing affordable, permanent homes to all homeless veterans in safe environments with a full array of on-Base amenities and wraparound services. Homeless to Home Ownership is the objective for each Base resident. Because They Deserve Better! It is time to end the institution of veteran homelessness. Measurable generational change will occur in hundreds of American cities because of the infusion of healthy, hopeful, and productive American heroes in the communities where Mighty Hero Home Bases are installed. Veterans will become vital contributors in the societies that welcome, support, and embrace their residency. Mighty Hero Home Bases will provide Base residents with employment opportunities, health care and wellness services, and other amenities such as a commissary, gardens, green space, indoor and outdoor congregation areas, etc. Support from the communities where the Bases are built is mission critical. As such, Mighty Hero Homes will recruit and empower local businesses, churches, and other civic organizations to sponsor each Base resident.

The Carter Center, in partnership with Emory University, is guided by a fundamental commitment to human rights and the alleviation of human suffering; it seeks to prevent and resolve conflicts, enhance freedom and democracy, and improve health. Programs are directed by resident experts or fellows, who design and implement activities in cooperation with President and Mrs. Carter, networks of world leaders, other nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), and partners in the United States and throughout the world.

The Foundation seeks sustainable solutions to longterm problems of poverty, with special emphasis on the needs of rural communities in mountainous and other resourcepoor areas. Priority is given to integrated approaches that are communitybased, participatory and innovative, and reinforce civil society and respect local culture. The geographic focus of the Foundation’s work is in East Africa and South and Central Asia.

Pajama Program's mission is to promote and support and comforting bedtime routine and healthy sleep for all children to help them thrive. Pajama Program provides new pajamas and storybooks, sleep health education, and caring connections to help make bedtime better for children facing adversity and their caregivers. Through innovative, nationwide programming and focused efforts in New York City, Atlanta, and metro-Detroit, Pajama Program makes a comforting bedtime routine and a good night's sleep more accessible. Pajama Program meets its mission with the help of a national network of volunteers, generous donors, and thousands of community-based organizations across the United States, including Puerto Rico. Since 2001, Pajama Program has delivered over 7.5 million Good Nights for Good Days.

The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief organization in San Diego County. Last year, the Food Bank distributed 22 million pounds of food, and the Food Bank serves, on average, 400,000 people per month in San Diego County.

Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military & veterans families can stay free of charge, while a loved one is in the hospital. These homes are located at military and VA medical centers around the world. Fisher Houses have up to 21 suites, with private bedrooms and baths. Families share a common kitchen, laundry facilities, a warm dining room and an inviting living room. Since inception, the program has saved military and veterans’ families an estimated $407 million in out of pocket costs for lodging and transportation. Fisher House Foundation also operates the Hero Miles program, using donated frequent flyer miles to bring family members to the bedside of injured service members as well as the Hotels for Heroes program using donated hotel points to allow family members to stay at hotels near medical centers without charge. The Foundation also manages a grant program that supports other military charities and scholarship funds for military children, spouses and children of fallen and disabled veterans.

To support social, educational, cultural and recreational programs and facilities for the young men and women soldiers of Israel who defend the Jewish homeland. The FIDF also provides support for widows and orphans of fallen soldiers.

TASK feeds those who are hungry in the Trenton area and offers programs to encourage self-sufficiency and improve the quality of life of its patrons.

Girls Garage is a nonprofit design and building program and dedicated workspace for girls and female-identifying youth ages 9-18. Girls Garage is the first design and building workshop for female youth in the United States. Through after-school and summer pathways, Girls Garage provides free and low-cost programs in carpentry, welding, architecture, engineering, and activist art to a diverse community of 200 girls per year. Integrating technical skills, college/career guidance, and community leadership, our programs equip girls the tools to build the world they want to see. In our workshop in Berkeley and under the guidance of our highly skilled all-female staff, we invite girls to bring their creative voice and put them to work on real-world building projects that live in our community.
