The Guardian Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is committed to providing free youth jiu jitsu scholarships to underprivileged children globally. After-school programs are essential for low-income children and teenagers, and martial arts can significantly contribute to their growth. We are dedicated to offering children year-round stability and consistency through our programs, focusing not just on their physical transformation, but also on fostering positive friendships, mentorship opportunities, and a secure environment during challenging times.

The mission of Casting for Recovery (CfR) is to enhance the quality of life of women with breast cancer through a unique program that combines breast cancer education and peer support with the therapeutic sport of fly fishing. The retreats offer opportunities for women to find inspiration, discover renewed energy for life and experience healing connections with other women and nature. CfR’s retreats are open to breast cancer survivors of all ages, in all stages of treatment and recovery, and are free to participants. On a physical level, the gentle, rhythmic motion of fly casting is similar to exercises often prescribed after surgery or radiation to promote soft tissue stretching. On an emotional level, women are given the opportunity to experience a new activity in a safe environment amongst a supportive group of peers. The retreats provide resources to help address quality of life issues after a breast cancer diagnosis, and a new outlet – fly fishing – as a reprieve from the everyday stresses and challenges of their cancer.

The Children's Inn at the National Institutes of Health is a residential "place like home" for sick children and their families. Children come from across the country and around the world to stay together with their families in The Inn's healing environment while receiving groundbreaking medical treatments at the NIH, the world's leading biomedical research center. While the NIH takes care of the child's medical needs, The Inn tends to the child's heart, soul and spirit.

Canine Companions for Independence is a nonprofit that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing expertly trained service dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships at no cost to clients. The Southwest Training Center is one of six regional training centers located across the nation! We primarily serve residents of Arizona, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Southern California, Southern Nevada, and Hawaii. Our dogs are matched with children (age 5+), adults, and Veterans with disabilities, as well as with professionals working with vulnerable populations in healthcare, criminal justice, and educational settings.

For more than 30 years, the DAV Charitable Service Trust has played a critical role in the support of ill and injured veterans, their families and caregivers as they navigate the challenges of life after combat. Each year, the organization assists thousands of America’s heroes through targeted grant support of charitable initiatives across the nation. DAV (Disabled American Veterans) leaders formed the DAV Charitable Service Trust in 1986 to advance programs and services that cater to our nation’s veterans as well as their caregivers and families. By supporting the work of the charitable organizations that offer these services, the Trust plays an essential role in ensuring that America fulfills its promises to those who make such significant sacrifices for national safety and security.

Our mission is two-fold:  To provide children affected by a parent's cancer with a supportive, lifelong camp community that recognizes and understands their unique needs.  To empower college students to make a difference and build invaluable leadership skills by developing and managing every aspect of their Camp Kesem chapter.

The Ellen Hermanson Foundation is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art breast health care and supporting those affected by cancer. Serving primarily breast cancer patients on the East End of Long Island, New York, the Foundation achieves its mission through two main initiatives: Offering educational outreach to highlight the importance of early detection and ensuring access to mammography and treatment for medically underserved communities. Funding psychosocial support services that address the diverse challenges faced by breast cancer patients, survivors, their families, spouses, and friends.

The mission of the Retreat is to provide safety, shelter and support for victims of domestic abuse and to break the cycle of family violence.
