YICE is a not for profit organization in Uganda with the main aim of implementing sustainable food systems for improved food security, nutrition, climate adaptation and economic resilience for displaced persons. We achieve this by building the capacity of displaced women and youth to sustainably achieve food security, improve their health, restore soils and water and become economically resilient. Our intervention brings together local community stakeholders, including agricultural organizations, the local government, and community members to participate in tailored practical trainings in regenerative farming and climate change awareness, followed up by ongoing direct support to establish traditional food gardens and fruit tree plantings to strengthen community's climate adaptation and resilience. We incorporate cross-cutting concepts such as market linkages, financial literacy, and gender awareness. The solution targets refugees, internally displaced persons and host communities across Uganda.

We're on a mission to end animal cruelty and suffering. Forever. Evidence shows that animals are sentient, individual beings who feel pain, fear, and joy. Yet, every day, billions of them experience unbearable cruelty. Putting animals first isn't just better for them, it's vital for us and for our shared planet. Find out what we can do, with your support, to end the cruelty and exploitation of farmed and wild animals. Together, we can transform the lives of animals across the world.

The Evidence and Methods Lab is driven by the mission of "Simplifying Data for Empowerment." Data has immense potential to drive positive change, but only if it's accessible and understandable to all. At EML, we act as a bridge, transforming complex datasets and research across key sectors (public accountability and anti-corruption, human rights, election conflict and violence prevention, and climate change) into clear and engaging formats like visualizations and reports. We foster a culture of data-driven decision-making by equipping individuals and organizations with the skills to interpret and utilize data effectively. This approach enhances transparency, promotes informed decision-making, and empowers communities to advocate for their rights, address social injustices, and push for meaningful change in these critical areas.
