The aim of BAC is to produce, present and contextualize local and international art researches and cultural practices in a space that is open and active all year long, and not requiring any entrance fees. BAC seeks engagement with various art forms and experiences and alternative methods of knowledge production and distribution. We support local and regional contemporary artists and facilitate the creation and realization of projects as well as interaction among local and international cultural players.

The Nawaya Network aims to connect promising disadvantaged youth with mentors, businesses, and institutions, to help them pursue skills or passions that would otherwise go unnoticed. We believe that by enabling at-risk youth to pursue their passions, they will be less likely to engage in violence, crime, and drug-use. The Nawaya Network is a new non-governmental, non-discriminative non-profit organization that discovers hidden potential, connects youth to worldwide resources, and empowers future generations. We operate by deriving youth from pre-established NGO partners, and connecting them to local resources (such as classes, workshops, mentorship sessions) provided by partner individuals, businesses, and institutions. So far, 25 youth have been enrolled in our program, with 25 others identified for future enrollment. Founder of The Nawaya Network, Zeina Saab, recently spoke at TedxBeirut. With upcoming February fundraisers in Vienna and Dubai, we plan to expand to the region as soon as resources permit. The Nawaya Network will launch in March 2013 with a unique and interactive online platform that allows users to connect youth with needed resources - all with the click of a button.

Balsam aims to relieve suffering and improve the quality of life of people facing life-threatening illness through patient care, advocacy, capacity building, and research. Balsam is committed to developing palliative care in Lebanon to ensure its integration into our healthcare system.

We are a South African registered charity dedicated to encouraging disadvantaged individuals and communities to develop to their full potential in sport, education and health. We are committed to using sport as a tool to develop the disadvantaged and vulnerable youth. We do this by; 1. Using direct sports coaching - for its health benefits, improved emotional well being and increased life skills (teamwork, leadership, decision making, communication). 2. Using sport to discuss critical issues - by delivering curriculums on topics such as HIV / AIDS awareness in a fun and interactive manner on the sports field. 3. Using sport for improved education - by providing pathways to success for talented and dedicated individuals through scholarships to top local schools and tertiary education.

The Youth Sport Trust is an independent charity devoted to building a brighter future for young people. We are passionate about helping all young people achieve their full potential by delivering high quality physical education (PE) and sport opportunities. Through 20 years of experience, we have developed a unique way of maximising the power of sport to grow young people, schools and communities. We believe in the power of sport to change young people's lives for the better. Our programmes focus on using sport as a vehicle to improve young people's: Wellbeing: Our work develops children's fundamental movement skills, equipping them with the confidence, competence and enjoyment of sport needed for a lifetime of activity, as well as good physical and emotional health. Leadership: Our work supports the personal development of young people and their progress at school, as well as preparing them for the challenges of life ahead. We support young people to develop a range of positive character qualities, such as: creativity, aspiration, resilience and empathy. Achievement: PE and sport delivered well is proven to impact positively on attainment and academic achievement. It can engage young people in learning and support the development of skills needed for success in the classroom, including: communication, teamwork and self-management.

The Alawite Islamic Charitable Association AICA, a non-profit non-governmental organization located mainly in Jabal Mohsen - Tripoli and Akkar, registered under the decree No. 4500/1950 , was founded in 1950 in order to claim the rights of the Alawite Muslim community through development and social projects as well as Health care and medical services. Its projects and activities aim to mitigate all forms of discrimination towards civil Rights access (medical, health, education, work opportunities, or any other additional required support), raise individual and collective awareness, mainstream protection and disseminate risks prevention. The intervention strategy consists on holistic and sustainable community development, Advocacy and Peace Building, education and training, primary health care and medical services, religious services.
