Short History and Curriculum of PANGEA FOUNDATION onlus Fondazione Pangea was founded in July 2002 as an independent, nonprofit, nonpartisan organisation with the aim of working in Italy and around the world to: promote the advancement, access and enjoyment of human rights and equal opportunities for women and children, to put an end to gender-based, social, economic and environmental injustices, or those caused by wars and conflicts. Also by mobilising and raising awareness among the public and governments prevent and combat violence and discrimination against women and domestic violence witnessed and experienced by children. To live both free from fear and violence promote and develop women's economic, social and cultural empowerment, in order to fully develop their talents and potential and no longer suffer poverty, financial and work exclusion We operate with respect for gender differences, in a gender intercultural perspective that takes into account human rights, for the environmental protection, the right to education and to health, the promotion of Peace, for the dialogue and non-violent conflict management. Our work is based on listening, welcoming and accompanying women and helping them in the path of empowerment to rebuild their life project, starting from self. Our tools are many and are adapted according to the needs and the context in which we work, and to the decisions that arise after the dialogue with the women and the partners who benefit from our intervention. Fondazione Pangea is present in the following institutions: Women Peace and Security table of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2010 National anti-violence advisory table of the Equal Opportunities Department from its inception in 2014 until today National Network for the fight against Hate Speeches promoted by Amnesty International RITMI - Italian network for micro-credit, from 2010 to 2016, where we chaired the vice-presidency for a few years At present we are active in Italy, Afghanistan and India. Women Win's vision is that of a world in which every adolescent girl and young woman fully exercises her rights. Our mission is to advance the playing field that empowers girls through sport and play. Women Win is the global leader in girls and women's empowerment through sport. We leverage the power of play to help adolescent girls and young women build leadership skills and become better equipped to exercise their rights. Since 2007, we have impacted the lives of 2,822,400 adolescent girls and young women directly and indirectly in over 100 countries. This is possible thanks to collaborations with a wide variety of grassroots women's organisations, companies, development organisations, sports bodies and government agencies. Women Win currently supports initiatives in Asia, Africa, Middle East, North and South America. Our work is focused on empowering girls and young women through sport, emphasising the prevention of gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and economic empowerment. In practice this involves developing high quality specialised tools and curricula; delivering training and capacity building workshops; monitoring and evaluation tools and systems development; and providing strategic and programmatic support. Women Win invests in and manages a diverse portfolio of global partners with approximately 1.5 million euros of direct funding granted annually.

Prime Trust's mission is to empower the rural and urban poor, enabling them to become self-reliant. To achieve this, Prime Trust focuses on two areas: Financial support (micro-finance) Education and raising awareness We provide financial support through a linkage microfinance system and education via awareness programs conducted in our SHGs and tutoring at our remedial school. We strive to constantly expand our activities and to improve the service and knowledge we provide, in order to ensure that it is relevant for the women and children with whom we work. Aims & Objectives To provide the women of our Self-Help Groups (SHGs) with microfinance and assist them to successfully utilize the means given to them. To increase the number of SHGs in Puducherry and Tamil Nadu. To continuously improve the microfinance system and to make it more easily accessible for the women in the SHGs. To create awareness on women's right issues. To educate children and women in the local communities about HIV/AIDS. To create awareness on children's rights issues such as child labor and the right to education. To offer extra schooling through remedial schools for less fortunate children.
