Equal Rights Beyond Borders is a Greek-German human rights organisation that works to enforce the rights of people on the move and their families. With offices in Athens, Berlin, Chios and Kos, we provide free legal aid to support people on the move in their struggle against illegal and arbitrary practices at the EU's external borders. Witnessing violations of our clients' fundamental rights on a daily basis, our international team of human rights lawyers and advocates relies on legal means to defend and protect the dignity and equality of every person in need, regardless of their individual background. We support those who live in zones of lawlessness, where individual rights are disregarded and violated on a daily basis. We believe that all persons should have access to highly qualified legal support. As a matter of course, we provide legal aid to refugees, asylum seekers and their families in Greece and Germany free of charge. We focus on casework and litigation in front of Greek, German and European courts. We stand with people on the move in the fight against undignified living conditions on the Greek mainland and in the island camps, against unlawful detention, and against illegal deportations. A special focus of ours is legal advice in family reunification cases from all over the world. In addition to individual legal aid, we engage in strategic litigation, research and advocacy.

ASF FRANCE IN 5 KEY POINTS ACT in the name of justice and freedom We provide pro bono defense for anyone whose fundamental rights are threatened and who does not have a free and independent lawyer. CONTRIBUTE to the strengthening of the Rule of Law We take action all over the world, whenever it is necessary to support the rule of law, the judicial institution or the right to a fair trial. PROMOTE access to the law and fair justice We participate in the implementation of legal aid and judicial systems in order to bring the protection of the law to the most vulnerable people where it does not exist: provision of legal services (mobile or sedentary consultations), strengthening of judicial systems, awareness-raising among the population and judicial actors. DEFEND citizens and human rights defenders We defend all persons whose fundamental rights are threatened and who are deprived of a free and independent defense, as well as human rights defenders who are threatened because of their commitment or their profession. STRENGTHEN the capacity to act and the autonomy of local actors Our mission is always to strengthen the capacities of local justice and legal actors. To this end, ASF France provides them with initial and ongoing training adapted to their specific needs and difficulties.

The Administrative Church Council of "Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary" parish of Katafygion village has the legal authority and the responsibility to care for and maintain the parish church edifice and all other aspects of the religious life and secular activities of the parish including the maintenance and preservation of the Church of Saint Nicholas. This Council legally and formally considered by the Greek State as a Philanthropic and charity entity. In 2022 the Ministry of Culture of the Hellenic Republic officially declared the church edifice of Saint Nicholas of the village of Katafygion a "protected monument of Greek heritage" affirming that the building is of great historical value, constituting a rare and unique monument of Byzantine art. Consequently, all restoration work performed on the building must abide by strictly predetermined procedures. All restoration works require that detailed technical studies be conducted, according to the standards of the Special Committee of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, which has to grant its approval following the aforementioned evaluation. The cost of the aforementioned studies ranges between 5-10% of the total cost of the restoration work and is borne by the Church Council. The steps for the restoration of the Church of St. Nicholas: Hiring and paying the architectural and artistic restoration specialists who will compose the various restoration studies, i.e.: 1. Architectural study of the church edifice 2. Electro-mechanical study 3. Static and anti-seismic study 4. Maintenance and restoration study of the icons, wall frescoes, Byzantine wood carvings and the other various artistic artifacts of great value The main mission and ultimate purpose of the Church Council of St. Nicholas of Katafygion is to co-ordinate all the necessary procedures, so as to ensure that this project of maintenance and restoration is completed successfully. Faith and religion are not a consideration at all and those participating in our program are not required to belong to any specific faith or religion, nor will they be exposed to any religious messaging. The program's objective is secular and consists in the restoration and maintenance of an important piece of cultural and artistic heritage of the village of Katafygion.

Every day, lives are changed by a single, selfless act - the gift of organ donation. Among those waiting for transplants are 2 groups of people: those who die waiting and those who receive the gift of life. Our work raises awareness of the urgent need for organ and tissue donors while helping recipients who have overcome the impossible to live life to the fullest. These individuals have faced life's greatest challenges; they are advocates for the cause but need resources, education and community. Transplant recipients have a unique opportunity to advocate for organ donation and raise awareness. Physical activity plays a crucial role in the recovery and long-term health of recipients. When recipients compete in world events, they demonstrate to the world what can be achieved through the gift of organ donation. Additionally, our programs provide recipients with community, tools, and resources to address the many challenges they face, leading to an increased quality of life. The WTGF promotes amateur sport amongst recipients, living donors and donor families; promoting the study of transplantation; educating the public and raising awareness of the world shortage of donor organs; sharing new knowledge from biological/clinical studies; promotion of mental and moral improvement for recipients, living donors and donor families; fostering international friendship and relations.

We advocate for sustainable systems; for the redesign of our relationship with resources; and for a global shift towards environmental justice, accelerating a just transition towards zero waste for the benefit of people and the planet

KNE Sustainability Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting global sustainable thinking and action. Our goal is to accelerate the dissemination of sustainability knowledge through modern media and e-learning. We are funded through partnerships, grants, and collaborations with organizations committed to sustainability and regeneration. Our key initiatives include the Global Goals Compass, a tool that provides guidance on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and ReGen.rocks, an interactive social learning platform designed to educate young people on sustainability, connect them in a social network and match them with regenerative projects. Additionally, we connect researchers in the field of sustainable development, create innovative e-learning programs, and support companies and organizations in effectively implementing sustainability and regeneration strategies. To create inclusive spaces where football is more than a game-it's a tool for building sisterhood community, raising awareness of social justice issues, and promoting physical and mental well-being.

We work collaboratively to help ensure every displaced man, women and child asking for Europe's help gets the support they need to start their new life with dignity. That is, to have a place to live, enough food to eat, clothes to wear, warmth, lighting and hygiene. Along with access to essential information and education. We primarily do this by raising money that helps fund inspiring humanitarian projects delivered on-the-ground by our grassroots volunteer partners. We work together keeping people and hope alive. Meanwhile, on the Greek mainland, evictions are making hundreds of families street homeless, living in poverty. Whilst the Greek arrival islands buckle under severe over-crowding, lack of basic hygiene and appalling food within camps sending tensions inside the camps, and right wing violence outside of them, soaring. Life for refugees in Europe's hot spots in 2020 is utterly miserable. The hope in people's eyes is disappearing, the smiles are fading... Now that you know, will you help? Within this devastating environment our volunteers are too often providing the only lifeline to refugees. Donate4Refugees uniquely brings together donations from individuals, businesses and trusts to give grants and emergency funding to our trusted grassroots partners on-the-ground. Those volunteers supporting refugee communities on Europe's front-lines. Together we're filling shamefully big gaps in aid and humanity and, without the tireless dedication of our volunteers, refugee men, women and children would be struggling to even survive. We're acting now providing very real help, human-to-human, to many of the world's most vulnerable people. We only wish we didn't have to.
