For over 40 years, the New View Society has provided services to adults living in the community with mental illness. We provide counseling and monitoring, as well as housing, employment, and recreational programs.

Pacific Community Resources is an award winning, accredited, not-for-profit society serving Lower Mainland communities since 1984. The agency provides addictions, special education, employment, counselling, housing and cultural enrichment services for children, youth, adults and families. We partner with individuals, businesses, other agencies and governments to ensure access to effective, high quality community resources for people who are often vulnerable or marginalized from society. Pacific Community Resources is committed to community-based research, advocacy and community development to identify service gaps and strategies to address social problems such as poverty, child abuse, mental health, substance abuse, violence and homelessness. Community Living North Grenville provides supports and services to adults and children with an intellectual disability and their families. Support is provided through a wide variety of services which include employment, work experience, school to work, leisure, recreation, supported indepedent living, 24 hour residential support, out of home respite for both children and adults and special services at home. Community Living North Grenville supports each individual in realizing their best.

We are Literacy North Halton, a non-profit organization based in Georgetown, Acton & Milton. We work to give adults (19-65) the chance to improve their skills in Reading, Spelling, Writing, Basic Math, Basic Computer Skills.

North Shore Crisis Services Society (NSCSS) is a registered not for profit charity that is dedicated to promoting a secure and abuse-free environment for women and children. We are committed to non-discrimination and our program locations are accessible. NSCSS was incorporated in 1979 and has been providing free services to women and children fleeing abuse since that time. Free services provided by North Shore Crisis Services Society include: Women's 24-hour Support Line (604.987.3374), SAGE Transition House, Adolescent & Children's Empowerment (ACE) Program, Outreach Services Program (OSP), Multicultural Outreach Services Program (MOS), Bowen Island Home Safe Program, New Beginnings Second Stage Housing Program, The Good Stuff Connection Clothing Program & Thrift Shop and a volunteer program. NorWest Co-op Community Health Centre has served the Inkster community in northwest Winnipeg since 1972. NorWest is a forerunner in taking a multi-service, holistic, team approach to health care. We provide a wide range of health and social services including food security programming, health education, skill building, youth programs and community outreach. NorWest is the only non-profit community based health care agency in the Inkster area.

Distress Centre Oakville provides: 1. Crisis Intervention services for those in immediate crisis, distress or suicidal: We provide anonymous, confidential, non-judgmental, listening, emotional support and crisis intervention. 2. Crisis prevention services for ongoing emotional support: We provide befriending for those who are lonely, isolated, struggling with mental illness, disabilities and stressful life events. 3. Information and referrals for practical assistance: Clients are provided with information and referrals to other agencies in the community. 4. Public education and awareness: We provide information about mental illness and suicide prevention through displays and presentations. 5. Customized Communication Skills Workshops: We provide fee-for-service Communication Skills training for the workplace focusing on effective skills and strategies to deal with difficult and stressful situations.
