KNE Sustainability Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting global sustainable thinking and action. Our goal is to accelerate the dissemination of sustainability knowledge through modern media and e-learning. We are funded through partnerships, grants, and collaborations with organizations committed to sustainability and regeneration. Our key initiatives include the Global Goals Compass, a tool that provides guidance on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and ReGen.rocks, an interactive social learning platform designed to educate young people on sustainability, connect them in a social network and match them with regenerative projects. Additionally, we connect researchers in the field of sustainable development, create innovative e-learning programs, and support companies and organizations in effectively implementing sustainability and regeneration strategies. Zahana in Madagascar is dedicated to participatory rural development, education, revitalization of traditional Malagasy medicine, reforestation, and sustainable agriculture. It is Zahana's philosophy that participatory development must be based on local needs and solutions proposed by local people. It means asking communities what they need and working with them collaboratively so they can achieve their goals. Each community's own needs are unique and require a tailor -made response

"Home Dinev" is a small, local, non-governmental organization, located in European Union Zone country of Bulgaria. Founded in help fighting with the growing problem of strays and abused animals at our country, in particular dogs and cats. Engaged in rescue, healing treatments and care for dogs and cats, adopting activities such as finding the "right" home for those of our pets, already in good health and condition. From the beginning of our mission as an organization, we are trying to give a priority, mainly of cases of seriously ill, or abused by "human" dogs and cats in the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria. In the beginning of year 2019 we had rented a place- an abandoned stonemason's workshop with a yard big enough to try to make our dream come true- to build up "Home Dinev" Animal rescue center. We moved in with our 40 dogs and 15 cats.... Since then, we are hardly trying to set an example with our actions, even our posts on social media platform Facebook - how more people united by one cause can change things in positive way. And we start, step buy step with help from volunteers, help from friends, get the yard clean and ready for the dogs houses. Terrain improvements and a fancy was placed around the yard, to secure our pets. In few months the new cases, we could take in our Shelter center growth, and of course approximately the "population" of "Home Dinev" increased... the more supporters we had, the more cases we took on. At September 2020 we had rented an extra space near by, so we can spare our dogs and cats in different facilities. Together, friends and volunteers, we get singled out a large cats house inside the new building / we moved them out from the old workshop, where they was placed in, because of roof failure and very expensive cost to fix it/. There is still a big need of improvements for the both buildings and yards we have. But we from "Home Dinev" believe in the good inside people, and staying united behind a cause, with hard work and small steps, we can improve the conditions and build temporary home for them- defenseless and voiceless. We hope that one day, when we succeed in our endeavor, our example will serve as a positive change for others like us- fighting for a good cause .Better Animal welfare and help to prevent animal abuse in republic of Bulgaria.

The upraising problem with stray animals (dogs and cats) in Bulgaria actually exists for long years, but in the last few decades escalated significantly and caused social tension that endangers to confront people to animals in particularly unacceptable way. The population of homeless dogs is generally a result of human neglect towards domestic animals - irresponsible breeding and abandonment. The lack of institutional and public control was one of the main reasons for the situation. The state and local authorities for many years have taken hesitant and inconsistent measures in governing the problem. In the past years (the early 2000s) some outrageous, inhuman initiatives of the local municipal authorities led to mass slaughter of stray dogs. The "measures" have not demonstrated any stable results in solving the problem but caused huge negative response among both local and international animal friends community and media. Following the Bulgarian entry in the European Union and the enactment of the present Animal Protection Law in 2008, the "Trap-Neuter-Release" method that has proven to be both effective and humane in many countries, was applied and nowadays brings expected results at controlling stray dogs population growth. Alongside with this, local shelters (municipal and governed by NGOs) are overcrowded and for great number of already neutered and vaccinated dogs, the city streets are the only home available. Insecurity, malnutrition, health issues, human aggression and cruelty are the life-threatening companions of the homeless animals that rarely reach mature age. The mission of the "Vzemi me vkushti" (Take me Home) Foundation is the life improvement of homeless dogs and cats. To achieve this aim, the campaign works in two main directions: - To improve the attitudes towards the animals that live on the streets by convincing people that when treated with respect, these animals are safe for the society; - To find home for as many actual homeless dogs and cats as possible by bringing out the understanding that those are adorable potential pets - affectionate, intelligent and successfully domesticated. Supported by their friends and allies, the campaign team strives to change the attitudes towards the unwanted animals by bringing them out of anonymity and giving them a chance to find good and safe home. The campaign shows cats and dogs available for adoption with their pictures and detailed information about their temper, habits and actual health condition. The strict procedure for the adopters selection includes completed questionnaires, personal meetings with the candidates and final decision made together with the animal guardian (the person that provides temporary shelter and care, usually the one that saved it from the streets and that looks for lifelong home for it). "Vzemi me vkushti" Foundation, encouraged by the successful record of its adoption initiative, has ambitious plans for the promotion of the cause for responsible and caring treatment towards the animals - homeless and domestic. Vzemi me vkushti" Foundation seeks for donors and sponsors support for its projects - educational, informational, cultural, sports and entertainment initiatives that will spread the cause of animal welfare even more widely and will remind people the important role of the animals as loyal and loving friends. "Vzemi me vkushti" Foundation follows a policy of financial transparency in accordance with its "Foundations Act" and "Rules and Regulations of the charity activities". The Foundation cannot distribute profit. The accumulated financial reserve can be used solely for the activities, stated in the "Foundations Act".
