The Ashesi University Foundation, based in Seattle, Washington, USA, is a 501 (c)(3) organization designed to help US and international donors support the University. The foundation was instrumental in helping Patrick Awuah establish Ashesi, and continues to inspire a global community.

Lifeline Energy is a non-profit social enterprise that provides sustainable information and education access to vulnerable populations. We achieve this by designing, manufacturing and distributing solar and wind-up media players and radios for classroom and group listening. Since 1999, we have distributed more than 500,000 power independent radios to provide on-demand access to information and education, mainly in sub-Saharan Africa. Over the years we have received numerous awards including the Tech Museum of Innovation Award, a World Bank Development Marketplace Award and an Index: Design to Improve Life Award. In addition, our founder and CEO Kristine Pearson was named one of TIME magazine's Heroes of the Environment for 2007 and received the James C. Morgan Global Humanitarian Award in 2005.

Reporters Without Borders USA (RWB USA) is the U.S. office of the global organization, Reporters Sans Frontieres, a leading defender of freedom of information with almost 30 years of experience. A core belief of Reporters Without Borders is that only through freedom of information can one verify the existence of all the other freedoms. Without free circulation of information, it is impossible to strengthen human rights protection, advance government accountability, and improve the reach and the quality of social justice and civil liberties. At RWB, we are defending information, defending reporters and citizen reporters (netizens) whose work benefits ALL citizens.

WECAN International works to strengthen and expand a global women-led climate-justice movement. It supports women’s leadership through policy advocacy, on-the-ground projects, trainings, communications/research, and movement-building to advance climate justice, rights of Indigenous peoples and nature, and just solutions for communities.

The National Society of Black Engineers aims to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community. NSBE DC provides scholarships to students in the Washington D.C. Metro Area and offers professional development and volunteer opportunities for both members and the local community at large.

The National Space Society (NSS) is an independent, nonpartisan, educational, grassroots, non-profit organization dedicated to the creation of a spacefaring civilization. The Mission of NSS is to promote social, economic, technological, and political change in order to expand civilization beyond Earth, to settle space and to use the resulting resources to build a hopeful and prosperous future for humanity.Accordingly, we support steps toward this goal, including human spaceflight, commercial space development, space exploration, space applications, space resource utilization, robotic precursors, defense against asteroids, relevant science, and space settlement oriented education.

By raising public awareness, advancing science-based solutions and mobilizing decision-makers around ocean conservation, we are leading voices for a healthy ocean. SeaWeb was founded to address the lack of public engagement on ocean issues, and works to reverse this trend by enabling key decision-makers to better understand the complexities of important marine environmental problems. In addition, our social marketing techniques enable the marine conservation community to effectively communicate sound solutions to these problems - another vital aspect of our unique approach to solving critical conservation questions.

D-Rev is a design engine that brings world-class health solutions to the people who need them most. Fundamentally we believe that all people deserve good health and we are in the position to design, refine, launch, implement, and track solutions that deliver quality impact. Our understanding of market dynamics and commercialization enables us to do it at scale with no additional philanthropy needed. We have achieved organizational proof of concept- with 5 products in 2 different product lines scaling via the market and over 700,000 patients treated in 71 countries. We are now tackling our biggest project- the development of a device to treat respiratory distress (a leading reason for infant mortality) in the NICU.
