The mission of Synergy Services, Inc is to strengthen the individual, family, and community through crisis intervention, shelter, counseling, advocacy, and education. Synergy provides a "lifeline for families and individuals in crisis." Through an interconnected set of services, the agency provides individuals and families with prevention education, immediate respite from violence, and support to assist them in their ability to find and choose good options for safe and successful futures.
The mission of Jackson County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is to be a child's voice in court. We recruit, train, and support lay volunteers who act as advocates on behalf of the best interests of children who have experienced abuse or neglect. We have two goals: To secure a safe, permanent home for each child. To advocate for appropriate medical, educational, and therapeutic resources while the child is under Court jurisdiction.
Voices for CASA Children is a 501(c)(3), a non-profit organization seeking to give a Voice to every child in Arizona’s foster care system. We do this by recruiting and supporting Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers; a crucial role to help youth in foster care find hope and to thrive - in Court and in their daily lives. VOICES promotes public awareness of the importance of a child advocate. VOICES is an affiliate of the National CASA Organization.

Mothers For Justice United Inc works to support bereaved mothers, elevate their voices to advocate for justice, and eliminate race-based violence in minority communities by police and vigilantes. Mothers for Justice United is engaged in advocacy on two main, somewhat overlapping fronts: police accountability and reform; and mental health, particularly as it interacts with policing.
Birth In Color RVA is non-profit organization designed of a community of practitioners engaged in the promotion and practice of culturally centered reproductive health support in and around Richmond, VA. Aligned through membership and purpose, they offer women, families, and communities the place and space to be supported and affirmed through information and choice. The network directly provides pregnancy, birth, and postpartum support to expecting parents and families, opportunities for skill development for fellow practitioners, community engagement and advocacy initiatives to address relevant needs.
