The Center's purpose is to champion the needs of sexually and severely physically abused children through prevention, intervention, therapy and collaboration.  The mission is accomplished by conducting forensic interviews and evaluations, psychological treatment and crisis counseling, educating other professionals about child sexual abuse, and facilitating coordinated service between the public agencies involved in the investigation, prosecution, and treatment for each child we serve.

Greater Richmond SCAN (Stop Child Abuse Now) is dedicated solely to preventing and treating child abuse and neglect in the Richmond metropolitan area. We fulfill our mission through the following goals: 1) To deliver and promote programs that prevent and treat child abuse and 2) To increase public awareness of child abuse and neglect.

The My Stuff Bags Foundation provides duffels of new belongings to children nationwide rescued from abuse, neglect, abandonment, child trafficking, and homelessness. Each year nearly 300,000 children enter foster care in America, tens of thousands more escape domestic violence and enter shelters with their mothers.Devastated by the experiences leading to their necessary removal from unacceptable environments, vulnerable rescued children often enter foster care and crisis shelters with nothing of their own. By rallying widespread individual, community, corporate and grantor involvement through our unique “My Stuff Bags Program”, we address the immediate physical and emotional needs of these disadvantaged children by providing childhood essentials and a message of hope

Mujeres is a bilingual/bicultural agency seeking to empower Latinas, their families and youth to become self reliant, to take full advantage of available opportunities, and to create new opportunities to improve the quality of their lives. 

New Yorkers for Children (NYFC) improves the well-being of youth and families in the child welfare system with an emphasis on older youth aging out of the system. NYFC provides direct educational, financial and emotional support and develops programs to fill gaps in the system in partnership with foster care agencies, community organizations, and the NYC Administration for Children’s Services.
