Founded March 2016, My Sisters Arms mission is to provide emergency and transitional housing to women and children who are or have experienced domestic abuse. My Sisters Arms vision is to educate, advocate and participate in the prevention of domestic and sexual abuse in our community.

Founded in 1921, Soroptimist International of the Americas is an international organization for business and professional women who provide volunteer service to their communities. About 45,000 Soroptimists in 20 countries and territories contribute time and financial support to community-based and international projects benefiting women and girls. Soroptimist International of the Americas is part of Soroptimist International, which comprises almost 95,000 members in about 120 countries. Club projects range from renovating domestic violence shelters, to providing mammograms to low-income women, to sponsoring self-esteem workshops for teenage girls. Casa's mission is to provide social and emotional learning programs and bullying prevention to children and adolescents to develop optimal relationship skills and to prevent abusive and violent relationships. Casa's prevention programs prevent children from becoming abused, from becoming abusive, bullying people, and from becoming involved in abusive relationships. In addition, Casa leads call to action movements to increase public awareness of verbal, and emotional, other abusive behaviors and to implement abuse prevention programs and social and emotional learning programs in schools, camps and after-school systems, as well as in businesses, houses of worship, health centers, and public entities.

Our mission is to stop the cycle of child abuse and neglect by strengthening the family through home-based intervention programs designed to include not only parents but entire families. Programs focus directly on contextual factors such as poverty, single parenthood, family violence, mental health or addiction issues, patterns of abuse that can increase stress, weaken the family and illicit abusive behaviors.
