CARE House of Oakland County is the county’s children’s advocacy center that works to prevent child abuse and protect children who have experienced abuse or neglect. It provides advocacy, education, intervention, training and treatment services (including forensic interviews and therapy) in partnership with community agencies, typically at no cost to the families served.
The Julian Center empowers survivors of domestic and sexual violence, strives to end the generational cycle of violence and creates a community where every individual is safe and respected. Since 1975, they have assisted more than 66,000 survivors and have educated more than 300,000 others on the causes of domestic and sexual violence and its impact on their community.
Ahimsa House is Georgia's first and only nonprofit solely dedicated to addressing the link between domestic violence and animal cruelty. We assist victims of domestic violence and their pets reach safety together.
Fulton County CASA is committed to providing trained, supervised volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children, one child at a time. CASA programs seek to find safe and permanent homes for young victims as quickly as possible while simultaneously ensuring that all of the child’s needs are met for healthy development. As a result, it has become an integral part of the child-welfare system.

The Massachusetts Children’s Alliance (MACA) is the accredited Massachusetts state chapter of the National Children’s Alliance that supports and coordinates the state’s 12 Children’s Advocacy Centers. It provides training, statewide program development, policy and legislative support, and promotes a multidisciplinary team response to improve services and outcomes for child abuse victims.
