Founded in 1975, the National Organization for Victim Assistance is the oldest champion of rights and services for victims of crime and crisis in the worldwide victims' movement. Over the decades, NOVA has earned the respect of victims, their advocates, and their allies for advancing its four purposes: 1. Advocating for victim rights; 2. Improving the knowledge and skills of those who seek to help victims through training; 3. Responding directly to victims of crime and crisis with a toll-free "800" helpline; and, 4. Serving NOVA's members through its informative newsletters, its acclaimed annual conference, and its discounts on valuable materials and training.

Constitutional Rights Foundation (CRF), founded in 1962, seeks to instill in our nation's youth a deeper understanding of citizenship through values expressed in our Constitution and its Bill of Rights, and educate them to become active and responsible participants in our society. CRF is dedicated to assuring our country's futures by investing in our youth today.

The Coro New York Leadership Center was founded on the principle that an informed and engaged citizenry and broad public participation are critical to a vital democratic society. We are committed to equipping individuals of all ages and from all backgrounds with the knowledge and skills they need to play active leadership roles across the public, private and non-profit sectors. We teach Coro participants how policy decisions are made in New York, the avenues that exist for citizen participation, and the skills they need to effect change on behalf of the cause or community to which they are committed.

Council for Children's Rights’ (CFCR) mission is to improve the lives and futures of children in Mecklenburg County through legal representation, individual advocacy, and by addressing community-wide issues through research and policy work. CFCR envisions a community committed to standing up, speaking out, and acting to ensure every child’s right to be safe, healthy, and well-educated.CFCR defends and champions the rights of children to be supported and treated with fairness, compassion, and respect, regardless of personal circumstances.

CASA of Collin County promotes and protects the best interest of children who have been abused or neglected by training volunteer advocates to improve the child’s quality of life and serve as their voice within the court system to ensure they are placed in a safe, permanent and loving home.

CASA provides a powerful voice and a meaningful connection for children who have experienced abuse, neglect and abandonment. We work to ensure that these youth are safe, have a permanent home and an opportunity to thrive.
