We will work toward the elimination of domestic violence and provide emergency and support services for survivors of domestic violence.For over 37 years, Domestic Violence Shelter and Services, Inc. (DVSS) has advanced its work to prevent domestic violence and provide support services for survivors of domestic violence and their children. Services are available twenty four hours a day. Our primary service area is New Hanover County. (Other areas are served as needed.)

Since 1953, the mission of their shelter has been to provide a haven for Huron county residents to safely surrender their animals when unforeseen circumstances come up. We accept dogs, cats, and other domesticated animals. We are unable to accept stray or outdoor cats and all stray or lost dogs must go to the Huron County Dog Warden. As such, Wuqu' Kawoq develops primary care and health programs within a larger context of community vitality, family stability,and Mayan language revitalization.

Adoption Rhode Island's Mission is to facilitate the permanent placement of children waiting in state care and promote adoption as a positive way to create a family. They provide pre and post adoption services to families, advocate for public policy to promote a child's right to a safe environment and a permanent family, and increase public awareness of the unmet needs of these children.

VGIF provides grants globally to fund locally generated projects that advance the rights of women and girls.

We are organized to improve and enrich the lives of children living in orphanages and group homes in South Korea; to support these youth after they leave the institutions and start their own lives by providing post-high-school-graduation education, support services, and resources; to aid the institutions and staff that devote their resources to the upbringing of these youth and spread awareness and build compassion for these children.
