The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance of California (DBSA CA), provides local support groups to grow and prosper, encourage the development of more support groups in areas of California where they are needed, and assist individuals who need support to find a support group in their area. DBSA CA also provides educational programs and training for support group facilitators. and hope, help, support, and education to improve the lives of people who have mood disorders. DBSA CA envisions wellness for people living with mood disorders (depression and bipolar disorder). DBSA CA equips our peer network for future success in a peer specialist capacity. We educate our participants on the mental health system in California and how to advocate for themselves and the mental health community.

Our non-judgemental volunteers give their time free-of-charge to people who are facing end-of-life planning and decision-making. Our goal is to help facilitate choices that reflect the wishes and values of the person and then to support their choice.
