Every 14 seconds, a child is orphaned by AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa. Nyumbani serves these abandoned children in Kenya, providing a loving home, medical services and community-based care in the slum communities of Nairobi. Nyumbani Village is a self-sustaining community to serve orphans and elders who have been left behind by the "lost generation" of the AIDS pandemic.

The Arc Montgomery County connects people of all ages and abilities with their communities to build inclusive and fulfilling lives. We provide daily support services to nearly 1,100 children, youth, adults, and seniors, with and without disabilities, and their families.

AshaUSA's m​ission is to provide culturally specific programs to the South Asian community t​​o foster health and harmony in their lives. Formed in July, 2014 in Minnesota, AshaUSA (Asha means hope) is a non-profit organization focused on engaging and empowering South Asian women, men, and children through culturally specific programs and services. Over 3.4 million South Asians (originally from India, Pakistan, Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka) live in the United States out of which about 44,000 live in Minnesota (2010 census). 75% of South Asian Minnesotans are first generation immigrants. The South Asian population in Minnesota has more than doubled since 2000. With the increase in population, challenges associated with acculturation in terms of health, youth development, and family relationships have become more distinct. There is a need for culturally specific programs that proactively address acculturation challenges for the South Asian community in Minnesota. ​

The mission of Jubilee Park and Community Center is to be a catalyst for community renewal and enrichment to the Jubilee Park Neighborhood, a 62-block area in southeast Dallas. The majority of families here are working poor who are under served in terms of education and health resources.

Founded in 1817, the American School for the Deaf is the country's oldest and Connecticut's only educational organization exclusively devoted to serving the deaf community. CLARE provides services to all those seeking recovery from alcoholism and substance abuse. Eleven programs in four Los Angeles-area locations meet the recovery needs of individuals, families and the community through a culturally sensitive, individualized, outcomes-oriented, "whole" person model of care. Programs are based on over 30 years of experience with Social Model treatment and the 12-step program developed by Alcoholics Anonymous. CLARE believes that recovery involves individual effort, the non-judgmental support of others and a clean, secure and sober environment.

Nashville CARES promotes and participates in a comprehensive and compassionate response to HIV/AIDS in Middle Tennessee. Our purpose is to educate the community for increased understanding and prevention of HIV transmission, to advocate for responsible public policy, and to provide services that improve the quality of life for people with HIV/AIDS and their families.
