Every year in the United States, more than 3,500 infant deaths occur due to accidental suffocation, asphyxia, or undetermined causes during sleep. Since 1998, Cribs for Kids® National Infant Safe Sleep Initiative has been making an impact on the rate of babies dying of sleep-related death in unsafe sleeping environments. The mission of Cribs for Kids® is to prevent infant sleep-related deaths by educating parents and caregivers on the importance of practicing safe sleep for their babies and by providing portable cribs to families who, otherwise, cannot afford a safe place for their babies to sleep.

Founded in 1996, this community based organization provides health care services through its legacy namesake, The James A. Watson Wellness Center. The non-profit charity foundation, Preventive Care Pathways, also provides educational outreach to underserved and/or marginalized communities throughout the Bay Area. Our goal is to decrease the disparities in health care services, education and mortality outcomes among those most marginalized or underserved through culturally sensitive care and education. We seek to start at the beginning, with the Youth of our community and "Keep Youth Alive" and firmly believe that "Art Saves Lives". The primary function of Preventive Care Pathways in serving the community is to bring together the resources that are most beneficial to our youth followed by incorporating Youth and their needs within the community of Adults in business and medicine, and especially in science, technology, reading, engineering, arts and mathematics or, in short, "S.T.R.E.A.M." "Remember, your health is your wealth and if you knew better you would do better! (c)". So we move to bring all of the educational instruments to our Youth and those who are there to support them, starting with our Youth in Arts Project. Please give generously and give frequently. Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area (LSS/NCA) walks with our neighbors in need and mobilizes community partners to provide services that offer hope and rebuild lives.

Kyleigh’s Cure's mission is to help find a treatment, or cure for galactosemia. Galactosemia is an extremely rare disease in which too much galactose is produced in the blood. At this time, there is currently no cure, or treatment for galactosemia. The disease is so rare; there is minimal funding for research. Our fundraising efforts help the research continue, and give Kyleigh the opportunity of a normal life someday.

Child Family Health International (CFHI) provides community-based global health education programs for students and institutions. Our unique model fosters reciprocal partnerships and empowerment in local communities, transforming perspectives about self, healing and global citizenship.

We provide information, education, support and advocacy for people with hearing loss in Contra Costa, Eastern Alameda and Southern Solano counties. Hearing loss affects all parts of your life; communicating with loved ones, colleagues and friends; going to the grocery store, pharmacy, doctors appointment; and entertainment and sporting events. We help each other learn how to live functional lives with a difficult disability.
