HERhealthEQ

HERHealthEQ is driving health equity by providing medical devices and equipment to developing countries for women's health issues. HERHealthEQ's vision is a world where healthcare, medical devices, and equipment are accessible to all women, equally. Women are the cornerstone of the family unit. When a woman becomes ill and does not receive the care she needs, the entire family unit is at greater risk of remaining in a cycle of poverty. We focus on providing equipment involved in the treatment of the top non-communicable diseases (NCDs) that affect the developing world which include cancers affecting women, maternal health, diabetes, and heart disease.

Prayers For Elijah

The Prayers for Elijah Foundation, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to advancing research and supporting treatment options for pediatric cancer patients with a vested interest in Epithelioid Sarcoma. Elijah was diagnosed with Epithelioid Sarcoma in 2014. Before losing him in November 2015, he wanted to start a foundation to help other children battling cancer. This group is his dream realized. We will never stop fighting for children and working to make Elijah proud. The work we have done since 2015 has been centered in the Charlotte/Concord area of North Carolina. However, we are currently working with an organization in Oregon to support their epithelioid sarcoma research.

Hana's Hope

Hana spent her entire professional career assisting hair-loss clientele and operating a successful hair and wig salon. Suddenly she was faced with her own "journey of one thousand miles." Nineteen years ago a series of fundraisers organized by a loving family member, friends and compassionate strangers were held to raise financial support to help pay insurmountable medical bills for an advanced stage breast cancer patient. That patient was Hana. Humbled by the outpouring of support and love of so many people, Hana realized that the concept of "Hana's Hope" would be a perfect vehicle to "Pay It Forward," especially for clients with few or no financial resources. Hana has worked with many top oncology departments and hospitals in the Denver Metro area, including Children's Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital, Boulder Community Hospital and Rose Medical Center. She has built a reputation as one of the most prestigious self-imaging services for clients who face hair loss and changed skin conditions resulting from medical issues.
