Since 1969, Self-Help Addiction Rehabilitation, Inc. (SHAR) has provided high quality behavioral healthcare services to individuals in the Greater Detroit area. Founded in Detroit, Michigan by a priest and two recovering individuals, SHAR has grown and evolved from a small therapeutic community starting at a local parish to a multi-million dollar human service agency. We serve approximately 6,000 individuals annually through our various service centers.
