The Home's mission is to help vulnerable children and their families build permanent, positive change. Each year, our community-based programs and residences meet the needs of more than 15,000 diverse youngsters and family members. These children are often society’s most vulnerable, victims of trauma, violence or shattered family lives. We ensure their emotional, social, educational and physical well- being from birth to age 26 through a dedicated team of professionals and a wide range of critical services. As a result, disadvantaged kids have safe surroundings, loving relationships and a secure path toward tomorrow.

The V Foundation for Cancer Research was founded in 1993 by ESPN and the late Jim Valvano, legendary North Carolina State University basketball coach, and ESPN commentator. The V Foundation has funded over $310 million in game-changing cancer research grants nationwide through a competitive process strictly supervised by a world-class Scientific Advisory Committee. Because the V Foundation has an endowment to cover administrative expenses, 100% of direct donations are awarded to cancer research and programs. Gilda's Club Madison creates a community of free emotional support, cancer education, and hope for children and adults with any cancer diagnosis and those who care for them.

NORD represents 1 in 10 Americans who have rare diseases with programs of advocacy, education, research and patients services. It serves as the voice of the rare disease community on important issues of public policy. It also provides information on rare diseases in understandable language for patients and their families, with referrals to support groups and other helpful resources. It encourages research on new diagnostics and treatments and administers patients assistance programs. NORD mentors rare disease support groups so that they can more effectively help their members. It serves as the point of connection between the patient community and key government agencies, such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Nearly 150 patient organizations are members of NORD and look to NORD for guidance, mentoring and leadership.

Hospice of Michigan's mission is to ensure quality of life and a comfortable, peaceful death for all patients receiving our care, and provide support for their loved ones. We will serve everyone in our communities who needs and seeks our care and strive to improve the state of end-of-life care.

Project C.U.R.E. was founded in 1987 to help bridge staggering health resource gaps in the developing world by matching medical supplies and modern equipment with facilities in need to empower doctors and nurses with the tools they need to treat disease, deliver vaccines, perform life-changing surgeries and ensure safe childbirth. Project C.U.R.E. operates distribution centers in Colorado, Tennessee, Texas and Arizona and receives donations of supplies and specialized equipment from hundreds of U.S. hospitals and medical manufacturers. Thanks to the dedication of thousands of volunteers nationwide, two to three cargo containers of life-saving aid leave Project C.U.R.E.’s warehouses every week. In addition, Project C.U.R.E. sends volunteer medical teams to underserved facilities abroad to provide free care and train local healthcare staff. Today, Project C.U.R.E. is the world’s largest distributor of medical donations to resource-limited communities across the globe, touching the lives of patients, families and children in 130 countries.
