Each year, hundreds of thousands of women are diagnosed with breast cancer, affecting one in eight women in their lifetime. The mission of Breast Cancer Alliance (BCA) is to improve survival rates and quality of life for those impacted by breast cancer through better prevention, early detection, treatment, and cure. To promote these goals, we invest in innovative research, breast surgery fellowships, education, dignified regional screening, and support for the underserved. Since its inception in 2006, BCA has invested over $39 million in grants to improve the survival rates of those diagnosed with breast cancer. The Orthopaedic Foundation for Active Lifestyles encourages general practitioners and other members of the professional allied health care community whose practices include the care of persons with sports-related musculoskeletal injuries to participate in educational courses and hands-on laboratory workshops concerning advances in orthopaedic surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation.   The Foundation is dedicated to the development and presentation of unique continuing medical education and research programs for physicians, health care professionals and interested community groups. Its focus is:

The Hereditary Neuropathy Foundation (HNF) is a non-profit 501(c)3 dedicated to finding treatments and a cure for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT) and related hereditary neuropathies while providing support and extensive information for those living with CMT and their families. HNF promotes and supports innovative therapeutic driven research.

IPTAR has over 100 candidates in training and provides low cost therapy to needy clients and has over 200 dues paying members.

The Community Hospice is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program. We are part of St. Peter's Health Partners, and are privileged to work with every hospital in the region to provide hospice services. We serve more than 4,300 seriously ill patients and their families a year. The elderly, terminally ill and dying are among the most vulnerable people in our society. Incredible advances in medical care and social services haven’t ended the tragedy of people dying alone or in pain. Meeting that need is our mission: The Community Hospice serves seriously ill people and their families during the process of dying and grieving. We enhance quality of life with comprehensive, compassionate services that respect the dignity of those we serve. And we offer that help and comfort in eight counties in upstate New York: Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Columbia, Greene, Montgomery and Washington.

The mission of the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation is to fund research to discover cures and more effective treatments for carcinoid, pancreatic, and related neuroendocrine cancers. To achieve rapid discovery of cures, the NET Research Foundation directs its donations to fund breakthrough scientific research of neuroendocrine cancers. Since its inception, the NET Research Foundation has awarded over $22 million in large-scale, multi-year research grants to leading scientists at renowned research institutions.
