Children's National Medical Center was created to coordinate the overall policy and activities of the affiliated organizations to assure continued financial viability of the system and to support the delivery of healthcare in the children's hospital area.

CLRA supports research efforts towards finding the causes and a cure for leukemia and assists families in meeting the financial obligations incurred in treatment. We strive to be at the forefront of funding medical expenses for families affected by blood cancers and supporting groundbreaking hospital research, ultimately leading to enhanced treatments and a cure.

Impact Network is a U.S.-based charitable organization that provides successful technology based education solutions in rural Africa. We believe every child deserves access to a quality education. By empowering local teachers with tablets loaded with activity-based lessons and intensive training on the use of the technology, we make this possible. We developed the eSchool 360 system as a way to sustain high-quality education for less than $5 a month per student. Our solution is currently operating in over 40 schools in rural Zambia, serving over 6,000 students in the primary grades.

The Brain and Behavior Research Foundation is committed to alleviating the suffering caused by mental illness by awarding grants that will lead to advances and breakthroughs in scientific research.

The Children's Tumor Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to finding effective treatments for the millions of people worldwide living with neurofibromatosis (NF), a term for three distinct disorders: NF1, NF2, and schwannomatosis.  NF causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body and can lead to blindness, bone abnormalities, cancer, deafness, disfigurement, learning disabilities, and excruciating and disabling pain.   NF affects one in every 3,000 people, more than cystic fibrosis, Duchenne muscular dystrophy, and Huntington’s disease combined.  The Children’s Tumor Foundation funds critical research into neurofibromatosis.  In addition to benefiting those who live with NF, this research is shedding new light on several forms of cancer, brain tumors, bone abnormalities, and learning disabilities, ultimately benefiting the broader community.

But sometimes, these injuries can lead to a cascade of other trouble — unemployment, depression, substance abuse, even suicide. Our mission is to ensure injured veterans and their families are thriving long after they return home. That’s why we find and fund innovative programs in communities where veterans, their families and caregivers live and work. That’s how we tackle the problems that can prevent our veterans from fulfilling their dreams for the next chapter of their lives.

We are an organization of volunteers committed to the prevention and cure of epilepsy and a positive quality of life for everyone who lives with seizure disorders. Our current strategic goals include broadening and strengthening of research, providing individuals and families with easy access to reliable information, and assuring access to appropriate medical care for those affected by seizures.
