The mission of PADS Lake County is to stand as a community based organization that provides trauma-informed support, resources, and shelter to individuals and families experiencing a housing crisis. We envision a community in which homelessness is rare, brief and non-recurring; one in which anyone who may experience a housing crisis has timely access to the proper resources and services based on their individual need.PADS works in partnership

The Children's Tumor Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to finding effective treatments for the millions of people worldwide living with neurofibromatosis (NF), a term for three distinct disorders: NF1, NF2, and schwannomatosis.  NF causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body and can lead to blindness, bone abnormalities, cancer, deafness, disfigurement, learning disabilities, and excruciating and disabling pain.   NF affects one in every 3,000 people, more than cystic fibrosis, Duchenne muscular dystrophy, and Huntington’s disease combined.  The Children’s Tumor Foundation funds critical research into neurofibromatosis.  In addition to benefiting those who live with NF, this research is shedding new light on several forms of cancer, brain tumors, bone abnormalities, and learning disabilities, ultimately benefiting the broader community.

UNRWA USA National Committee (UNRWA USA) is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides support for the humanitarian work of UNRWA though advocacy, fundraising, and education. UNRWA USA aims to educate the general American public about the situation of Palestinian refugees and generate support for UNRWA's education, health, and social service programs in all five of its geographical fields of operation.

Cure SMA leads the way to a world without spinal muscular atrophy, the number one genetic cause of death for infants. We fund and direct comprehensive research that drives breakthroughs in treatment and care, and we provide families the support they need for today.

Wellness in the Schools is a national non-profit that teaches kids healthy habits to learn and live better. We partner with public schools to provide nutrition and fitness education, healthy scratch-cooked meals and active recess periods. Our approach improves student outcomes and drives systemic, long-term change, shifting school cultures.

Serbian American Medical Association' s primary mission is to help improve health care conditions, patient care and medical education in Serbia. SAMA' s activities are supported by donations.
