This trust had the philanthropic philosophy of providing high quality health care, especially eye care to all, either free or at an affordable cost. Strong Against Cancer is an initiative inspired by the immunotherapy discoveries at the Ben Towne Center for Childhood Cancer Research at Seattle Children’s Research Institute. The aim of Strong Against Cancer is to create a national philanthropic initiative with worldwide implications for curing childhood cancers through immunotherapy treatments.

The Foundation's mission is to raise funds to support the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes in Denver where over 6000 children and adults from around the world currently receive the finest care available.
